I feel like I'm always looking at the early days wishing I started back then. I don't own a hulk as yet buy have the ex green on order but MAN that kirby hulk is the one I want and will get in the future. This new one is just for killing time till then. Unless if its like the Rulk, then its gone ASAP.

I agree. I took some time looking at this and the maquette recently. The maquette had me second guessing myself because of all the AoU hype, and remembering how that first avengers film had me feeling.

Taking time to look them both over... This new green pf has me so excited. The way he is posed, with the reg head hair flowing the way it is, it looks like he just reacted and spun to a noise to confront him foe. I can't wait.

This may sound a little funny, but if you want the original PF I would go for it sooner rather than later. Simply put if it is the one you want putting it off only increases the chances that it will go up in price. Especially if these PFs turn out to not be as good as people are hoping they will be.

na, he should wait. the market will be even more saturated and thus, the original pf won't go up as peep would think. plus it will be as good or most likely better than Rulk since it is based on the same sculpt but different color and head sculpt. another thing is, these new Hulks are cheaper so he can afford it first.

I think the switch out heads are a great idea, but if they make it look like an obvious crease then it definitely looks flawed. Having said that sometimes I get my beefs on here when I read other people's complaints lol. I saw Rulk in person and he blew me away. I didnt even notice the head crease.

I think they are a great idea as well.... I just don't like any of the ones on the Green Hulk all that much, but that is just my opinion.

I'm probably alone but I think the new Hulk PFs are actually not that bad... I'm considering the green one but space is an issue. Does it fit in a BESTA by any chance? I know it's short enough I saw Red Hulk and he's really big so maybe a Stuva might be necessary.

Yeh when I saw Rulk the size blew me away. But then straight away the paint app on the face especially the teeth was horrid. The skin toning was so simple and bland for a high end piece. But I'm probs different in the fact that I want a piece that rings "Premium Format" like it use to a few years back. It just sounded like 'the best of the best'. Aaand maybe they just received a faulty one in the bunch which is why I'm giving my Green EX a chance. But man I was so close to cancelling it.. but I didn't.

and switch outs are a good idea as long as you can display them side on or any angle without any issues. With this I don't think it's the case with me. I'm gonna be looking at that crease line like CRAZY so I'll be displaying front on.

regarding getting the OG PF first. Man I wish but as stated before.. money's..
But it will be mine.

I got a close up of Rulk at an LCS. It is phenomenal. I did not see any of the paint defects mentioned above. The skin color and texture looked great on the one I saw.

I got a close up of Rulk at an LCS. It is phenomenal. I did not see any of the paint defects mentioned above. The skin color and texture looked great on the one I saw.

It is the black wash they use to put on all this fine black lines with the face and body of the Rulk that tend to make the paint jobs so damn inconsistent. A painter who knows how to d it can get fantastic results whereas a painter who is just using the technique because they have been told to and it is faster can have results ALL over the map.

Oh so it's not an airbrush technique?

I don't know why sideshow shows us their painters (even though they are incredibly talented) when it's the factory painters that do the work we actually receive. Even though those photos look pretty good, there's still a difference between the proto which kicks ass and looks worthy of $700.

The black wash was only used on the Rulk ... At least that is my impression of the paint on the face. So yeah it is an assumption, but I am pretty damn sure that is what they did... Lol. They wouldn't need to use it on the green and the grey.
