I think the exclusive head sulpt is the best to date, but after my WW I'm really worried about QC. I'm also worried about what the seam line is going to look like of the green version.

If you go back a few pages here you will see a few shots where it doesn't look to be a major issue, and if you love the Ex head then I would order it. SSC doesn't tend to mess up when it comes to the Hulk's paint jobs...lol. I wish I could love it...lol

Here is the pic... Owing for the glare I think the seam will be fine.

I think the seam is pretty prominent but I doubt it will be a problem... He's gonna be so massive, intimidating, and green that in-hand it'll probably be the last thing you notice.

While I thnk both the Reg head (Ed Mc) and the Ex head (which is apparently not Kirby, maybe Trimpe or Severn) are well sculpted they aren't want I wanted artistically on a Hulk statue. In fact the only head sculpts I really like on these are on the Rulk (the Ex is my fav) and were sculpted by Pablo V.. I am more a fan of Dale Keown and would have loved to have seen something more inspired by his sensibilities. However, in the end it is all good because in the end it was the fact that I wanted something different that inspired me to get sculpting, and though my traditionally base work is lack luster my digital is really starting to pop. So in the end it may just be the best thing for me...lol.

It sure looks like a Kirby inspired sculpt to me. It looks very similar to the first PF just a little more detailed. I liked when Keown drew Pitt, but I didn't really care for his Hulk. I'm not sure it would really translate very well into a sculpt, but it looks like you're doing a pretty good job. I guess I just like my Hulk to have a creepy-dumb-ape look to him, with a slight trace of humanity.

I bought the original for retail when it came out, but I sold it a couple years ago. I wouldn't want to pay what people are asking for it now. Some guy had one up for sale down the street from my house for $300 bucks, but by the time I called him it was already sold. That person must have not known what they were selling and someone lucked out. I'll just buy this new one and if I don't like it I'll send it back. I really think it's going to be a great statue though.

I will say again. After seeing Rulk in person there is no issue with the seam. It looks natural and blends in with the jawline. I can't imagine the green or grey will be different in this regard because they are the same sculpt

Yeh its like that for some people but for me. Every pic ive seen and the one ive seen in person the seam bothers me. I was so so close to cancelling the green but thought (as always) ill give SSC a chance. They really gotta step up their paint app for me not to break mine apart, seeing im from AUS and with the current exchange rate, every bit of this HAS to be worth it. That last pic is blurry as heck! Its not even worth assessing how that piece is. I wanna see close up HD pics of Teeth. I dont want mine having any evidence of brush strokes or blobs. That one one i saw in person suuuucked! Im sure is probably a "bad one", but i havent seen anything any better pics wise.

In a pic when the focal point of the shot is on the seam I agree it makes it seem dramatic. In person it really isn't like that. If the one you seen in person bothers you then you already have insight to how the green one will be. Probably better to cancel and then wait till you see that in person and if they do actually edit it to your liking then go pick it up no?

Yeh im playing the risky side of the game. I got the EX, so no waitlist and then if the paint app pulls through and i want it i dont want to go out to buy one on the secondary market for more $$.

The head seam doesn't bother me at all in person. I took a couple of pictures of the Red Hulk and they do not do justice to seeing it in person. I actually like it better than my Gladiator Hulk.

I hope the WL for the grey hulk comes back up again. Maybe the person making the custom capes for grevious and Talon can make a custom exact orange shirt for the reg? If I can't get the ex then this may have to do saying if they make the customs.
