Mayweather demanded a drug test right before the fight right? If i remember correctly. Was this the only reason the fight didn't happen, because Pacman's coach didn't accept Mayweathers demands?

Pacman already agreed to take the test before, and after. He was even willing to take the test weeks before to show that he doesnt take any enhancement drugs during his trainings. When Floyd heard about this, he suddenly changed his mind again about fighting Pacman. sissy.

I think the row was over the timing as floyd is the bigger man and mannys camp didnt want to take the test 2 weeks before the fight as it coiuld weaken him.
I do agree, i think floyd generally feels very threatened by wot manny brings to the table. More so than any of his other fights.
The more critism mayweather gets, the more i think he will cave and take the fight.
Im not a pro mayweather, hate manny or anything like that, i just think he is a great boxer and i like the fact he's never been beaten, never been cut or knocked down...
He does go to far but maybe boxing will be a boring place without him.
I am disappointed he seems to be making this fight akward to put togeather.
Manny deserves to be given the chance to maybe go down as the very best by beating one of the best and floyd should back his trap and sign the contract.
Really hope this happens.

IMO Manny does not need to fight Floyd to prove anything, it's the other way around. Floyd needs this fight Manny if he wants to say he is the best. Who cares if he is undefeated, sometimes being beaten makes a fighter more hungry and dangerous and they learn on their mistakes. Manny accomplished way more than Floyd ever did.

:exactly:, Manny will go down as one of the best ever, if not the best ever regardless. I would love to see Manny destroy Floyd, and i wouldnt be suprised if he fought Floyd, then retired after cause theres nothing left for him to prove and nobody else worth getting up for when he has such a big future in politics. Theres no defense in the world that can defend Manny's punch output and when you add accuracy to that, the only way yur beating him is to KO him or match him in punch output; the bigger, stronger guys couldnt even phase him, let alone hurt him real bad, so i dont see midget mayweather doing it either. Mayweather can go 100-0 for his career, but everyone will remember that he dodged Manny, and will always be behind him in ppls minds.

Manny has already proven he is not only the best contemporary fighter but one of the greatest of all time. The only person with anything to prove at this point is FM.

Floyd Mayweather is witty, I'll give him that.. Witty only in the sense that he picks fighters he can beat (yes, including Oscar Dela Hoya who was past his prime then), so he can remain unbeaten.

Check their fight history for the past 3 years.. Manny has fought in 12 fights, and Mayweather only in 6.. WTF?!?! I thought you want more money, why fight lesser bouts? And why choose puny opponents? Manny meanwhile is just destroying everybody that Bob Arum chooses as his opponent.

Every victory that Manny achieves, Floyd Mayweather is thinking of more excuses and strategizing how to duck the next fight. Whatever happens, he can never take it out of his mind that he is NOT the best fighter in the world, and he will carry this to his grave. :lol

I think you are going a little to far in saying floyd mayweather has not have the intelligance to out wit manny. Floyd is by far the cleverist and probably the most technicaliy gifted boxer today.
I also think this fight will happen. Has to happen as there is way way to much money on the table.
Manny has achieved so much and deserves all his plaudits but the name floyd keeps popping up for a reason.
The guys never touched down and still remains undefeated. How ever much people hate him, you cannot deny what an achievment that is in 40 odd fights of proffesional boxing.
Iv never seen a guy train so hard and pepare so well for a fight. I was actually impressed with the mosley fight when he looked in alot of trouble in the 2nd or 3rd round, to come back and not only win the fight, but totally frustrate mosley. In a way, floyd has much more to lose as his legacy is on the line. Manny has lost 3 times but has blown everyone away in different weights and has his sights set on politics.
I really do like both boxers and hope they reach some kind of middle ground with the drug testing, money etc so the fans get to see one of the best fights of all time.

So if Floyd is such a great boxer and professional, why did he do that racist video about Pacquiao?

If you are Michael Jordan, and you know you're on top of the world, would you have to bash other people?

This is the same case.. Floyd is NOT at the top of the boxing world, so he's so envious of Pacquiao, and could not hide his hatred. :slap

And Pacman has learned his lesson, and has moved on since the coward will not face him: https://www.boxingscene.com/?m=show&id=32970

Floyd can go _____* himself if he loves himself so much. :lol

whether Pacman wins or not, all I really care about is that gayweather gets the beating of his life.

I think if u look at floyds past 3 years in terms of bouts, hasnt he been retired for about 3 of those lol. In terms of being a pro, definetaly one of the best for praparing for a fight. Outside of the ring is all talk and rubbish and your right, what he said about manny was racist and leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Your saying fm thought an over the hill oscar but manny thought a washed up oscar. Manny struggled against marquez where as floyd thought a very good marquez from being out of the ring for over a year.
I think these two boxers are way ahead of anything alse out there and i think the fight will happen. I also think its a hard one to call.
I really thought manny would struggle going in at 148 as apposed to going in at 153 like he did against oscar but he still showed great power. He is the best and deserves to be so and i just hope the fans get to see two of the best boxers go toe to toe.
