To be perfectly honest, I don't feel all that bad for the people who missed out. These things are limited edition collectibles and not eyeryone should get one. Everyone had the same opportunity to order one, but unfortunately some missed out.
This is absolutely true. We all had the same opportunity, and some were fortunate enough to get through while others weren't. No one should necessarily need to feel bad for anyone else under those circumstances.

In some opinions, we may have taken things too far with what we considered jokes, but if you're going to lose sleep over something like this then maybe it's time for a new hobby. In the grand scheme of things, how important is it?

Not to worry. I lost no sleep. If my WL converts, great. If not, I'll order the regular from my local dealer. He usually gives me better discounts than his other customers anyway, since I helped him become a Sideshow dealer, so I'll probably get mine for around $200.

But, I don't know. Maybe you can tell me how important it is, "in the grand scheme of things." It was apparently important enough to you and a few others to prance around the forum, waving your orders in everyone's faces, gloating about how cool you were for having "scored" a bit of plastic and cloth, where others "failed".

That being said, I think I'll go and list mine on ebay for $2000.
Yeah, that's helpful.

So like I said earlier... why dosen't someone just cast the hand piece and make them available for those who missed out on it??? At least they can have the look of the exclusive.

This man speaks truth...

If it's like the non-exclusive Indy head, the regular hand will not be a separate piece. Nothing a good saw can't fix, though.
