So is the consensus on this piece that this one will go through the roof? All of these talks about trading for Dooms and Alien 1:1 Busts....I didn't think this Dead PFs was THAT popular? (I'm not "bashing" this piece because it does look good, but I guess I'm just surprised.)

I'm just curious what everyone's opinion is.

all i can say is i missed it but want it others got it but want something else..trading items which have the same retail price seems fair but then there will be others who will try for the impossible

I'm really curious to see how much trading power these pieces will have, partially because I have one coming myself. There's maybe one piece I would trade it for (a Thing 1:1 Bust) but I honestly don't think this PF will have that much "power" or maybe I'm completely wrong.

Are you talking about the same retail price at release, or the same retail now ($280)? The Doom PF has an ES of 1000 and its retail price at release was $300, so in that sense, a trade of the PZ EX + $20 should be fair for a Doom PF.

The issue here is that the PZ EX has an ES of 100 and the Reg 300, there will be alot of demand for it because it is really cool and really limited; Sideshow dropped the ball on the ES and on the server during ordering. Think about the demand for the Patient Zero 1/6th and the prices it fetches. So saying a straight trade for the EX at retail price ($280) would hardly be a fair trade for something that has an ES of say, 500.

Not trying to get an anti/pro-flipping rant going, and I am very grateful that my WL converted, but I am just stating my opinion on the 'fairness' of trading.

what i mean is pz ex pf and akuma pf are about the same price at release so that is a fair trade but a venom of the thing 1:1 busts were like $500 at release which i wouln't trade for pz ex even if there are less of them.

I think people should wait until the PZ PF is released to offer any trades. I don't think it's going to be worth near as much as everyone's hyping it to be. Despite the ES and the server crashing, blah, blah, blah, this is an entirely different audience than a broader, more popular/valuable item and the actual value of this after release might surprise everyone.

It's all hype now, and will die down a month or two after release, and then we'll know the true value of the PZ PF. That's the trend. We build ourselves up into a tizzy, then never discuss why a certain piece hasn't reached grail status, as that word is tossed around so cheaply lately.

No way is a PZ PF anywhere near the value of a Doom PF. And if you think it is, I'll gladly trade mine PZ PF Ex for a Doom PF.
