Looks kind of lame to me, but it's clearly trying to target young kids (boys), so I'm not sure the studio execs care about what 30-something men feel here.
I have never watched any Peter Pan movies or cartoons and won't be seeing this.
I have an idea for a Peter Pan movie where Pete is a 28-year old slacker/man-child. His father Jim resents him because he's tired of constantly supporting him, and, on top of that, Jim blames Pete for the loss of his hand, as he was side-swiped by a Gatorade truck while on his way to bail Pete out of jail.
