Agree that the price point is high...but then again, just about everything is inflated.
I'm excited to see this since Chronicle never released them.

Yea, it is a shame Chronicle never finished them. As I recall they were working to make them functional and with a display base. This Paragon is really cheap in that regard, they didn't' even make the nice wall display for their canes like the ones they made for Chronicle, yet they charge MORE for them.

Chronicle had so many cool things coming, what a bummer that went down south. Just 5+ years ago you would get Way more for your money, including little details like bases and plaques, etc.

IIRC, 1/6 Dr. Grant and raptor and the Barbasol DNA can - the latter was eventually released by another company.

Chronicle Collectibles was a disaster at the end, a lot of collectors lost hundreds or thousands if they purchased direct from their store, particular those that had long paid off POs or used debit cards.

Luckily, I was able to recover over $1,000+

I paid with credit card and only recently paid off several POs (Real Ghosbusters statues and some JP).

Yea, it was unfortunate...many frustrated collector's for sure. I was luckily able to get everything refunded. I had the 1:2 Anubis and Horus on pre-order at the time.

I had a couple of pre-orders that were paid for with Chronicle when they went out of business. Luckily, I was able to get my money back and immediately used it to purchase the Prime 1 JP T-Rex that was available at Sideshow at the time.

As for these goggles, they're cool, but awfully expensive considering they don't function. I've found all of Paragon's JP offerings to be on the expensive side and more than I was willing to spend.

I ended up getting the Chronicle T-Rex statue through Timewalker (via Sideshow) because it was the better “value.”

In retrospect, should have bought Prime 1 -paint job is superior, not to mention the lack of raptors on the CC statue.

Most replica props are overpriced (like the Indiana Jones grail cup or stones) but there’s not many alternatives.

The Paragon FX type companies seem to straddle the line in the middle between the cheaper ones (Disney Store had some cheap looking under $100 Indiana Jones props) and the super high end prop replicas.
