I absolutely hated the first two. I thought they were the biggest over rated pieces of ____ I have ever seen. I watched the 3rd one because my gf made me and I absolutely loved it. Crazy how peoples opinions differ from each other

True dat! For myself, just loved the simplicity of the concept and the whole 'found footage' concept wasn't super overdone. By making 3rd one a prequel, they really alienated me from the story of the first two, since they clearly didn't want to deal with what happens with the ending of 2, with that one main character taking the baby or whatnot

I like the PA franchise. I didn't like the second one AT ALL. The third was okay. I'll probably watch PA4 but only when it comes on Starz.

This ^^Hollywood only remakes foreign films only a few years after they have been out. aka quarantine which was a terrible movie. Though I might be biased because REC is my favorite horror film of all time.

Isn't the twist to this new movie already sort of given away with the symbol they showed at the end. I won't say anything about the third one since people haven't seen it, but it looks like it will be the same.
