That wasn't the point of my post, my point is that Lizzy Caplan isn't a draw for me personally because I watch True Blood and have seen her naked there so my curiousity has been met. As for the show, it doesn't really matter what the premise is you are dealing with chemistry of actors. If 90% of the cast leaves and you are bringing in new ones, it doesn't matter if it fills the premise of the show if it doesn't work it doesn't work. Historically shows that do major revamps are hit and miss and that is with one or two newer introduced characters not almost a full cast.

Don't want to start watching a show only to have it go to hell in season 3 because they have to completely recast.

The Main cast is credited as:
Adam Scott
Ken Marino
Jane Lynch
Jennifer Coolidge
Megan Mullally
Ryan Hansen
Martin Starr
Lizzy Caplan
Huh. I've never heard of any of these people, though I see lots of last names shared by former football stars and pro wrestlers. Maybe their children?

And all these posts, I still have no idea what this show is about :lol

I will guess-the lives and times of children of former football stars and pro wrestlers. Sounds pretty interesting. Count me in!

I don't consider it a revamp at all. It works well for this show because of the story line, it isn't some as intricate as LOST or that terrible show Heros. There is hardly plot that crosses multiple episodes or even seasons and if there is it is very minor that it doesn't matter. It is like Always Sunny or Seinfeld in that respect. As long as it stays fresh and any new actors are good the show will strive. I 100% disagree with you on this topic.

Any show has a chance to fail even if they don't revamp it. Might as well not watch TV then.

The Ken Marino guy rocks!!!

Some of these I think I can fill in

Adam Scott - The male nurse from when she is having the baby in Knocked Up
Ken Marino - The guy from the State and McLovin' stepdad in Role Models.
Jane Lynch - Steve Carell's boss in 40 year old virgin and the lady who runs Sturdy Wings in Role Models.
Jennifer Coolidge - Stifler's Mom
Megan Mullally - The high pitched chick from Will & Grace that is in those annoying butter commercials now.
Ryan Hansen - no ____ing clue
Martin Starr -Martin from Knocked Up who couldn't shave his beard because of the bet
Lizzy Caplan - the chick from Mean Girls, Cloverfield and who gets naked in True Blood

Might also recognize Adam Scott from Step Brothers and Ryan Hansen from Veronica Mars and the new Friday the 13th. Martin Starr was also in Freaks and Geeks.

Just watched the first episode and it was pretty funny! some good lol moments so i'm gonna grab some more episodes now. :rock

Looks like you were somewhat right. They are supposedly or are canceling season 3. Which really sucks. Season 2 started kind of slow but ended great!

Oh well we got a good solid 2 seasons out of it.

This show is hilarious. To me it felt like something a lot of c list actors (but very funny ones) put together because they were all out of jobs...which is hilarious because more or less thats what the show is about...

Shame the show is canceled I thought season two was much funnier than one. I don't think the show was popular enough for there to be a big shot glass mailing campaign to Starz but that would be funny.

I've only watched the first season so far and it was pretty great! Sad to hear it won't come back for a third.

Agreed, that is why the show was good.

I would say overall I liked Season 1 as a whole a lot better. Season 2 had some great stuff but it started a bit slow.

Adding a bit more salt in the wound since I'm a ____ like that who predicted this show would fall apart after the lead went elsewhere.

You know how, when you heard Party Down was officially cancelled, you took solace in knowing you could at least watch the series on Netflix, occasionally falling asleep to it as it becomes your Arrested Development successor? Well, you can't do that anymore, either. As noticed by Clicker, the show is off Netflix too, starting today--forcing us to buy an elegant white box set marked only with the pink bowtie that seals the package (at least make that, Starz). What a world. As Michael Hitchcock says in the final episode: something about a ____ sandwich that I can no longer properly reference because it's not on ____ing Netflix.

Well the ratings were way down already so I am not sure it was the lead
leaving because he was most certainly not the reason I watched the show. Good none the less and everyone should still watch season 1 and 2 because not having a 3rd season doesn't take away from the rest.

How would they? Starz has announced they will stop running it and its off of Netflix, unless a boxed set is provided you won't be able to see this anywhere....strange that they eliminate the show completely....its like the highlander license and Sideshow.

exactly how many times does one need to watch it? its a great show, but dropping it off netflix doesn't ruin my day. people have too much time on their hands if they are making this a big deal.
