Yeah, I do. Its a fun show to watch. All the ____ they get into that place is pretty amazing. I love it when someone brings in something with some historical significance.

I too love the show. Even went to the actual shop when I went to Vegas a few months ago. It was a holiday weekend so of course none of the guys were there. But there was a line to get in! I'd really love for them to have an episode that shows how the shop has changed since the show started. I for one noticed the back corner was different. It now has Pawn Stars gift items and on the show it doesn't (and still doesn't last I checked). So these must be filmed really far in advance. But the funniest thing was they had Chumlee magnets and they were all autographed :lol

That's the part I love the most about the show. Seeing all that great stuff with such great history. You also learn a lot to. What's cool is any person could have something sitting in their basement, attic, closet or just out in the open that has lots of important history behind it or even be worth a ton of money and not even know it. You just never know what's sitting in your house.

I was in Vegas in October and yes there was a huge line that went around the block with people holding all kinds of various collectibles hoping to be on TV. We got out of the car for a bit but didn't go in.

That is one of the cool thing is besides being entertained is you can get educated as well. It does make you wonder what you might come across in life that could have some importance to it.

Anyone ever watch Pawn Stars on the History Channel? It's a pretty good show and some people bring in some real cool things in. I can't stand Corey though.

It's nice to see the cool things people have, but if I wanted to sell something I think had some worth, I sure wouldn't take it to a pawn shop because they're not going to value it high.

I just like seeing all the cool stuff. Other than Rick the rest of the employees I could do without.

I just remember that one Power Ranger with a cell phone charger or something like that :lol maybe it was just an outlet? idk

I saw a part of Pawn Queens where a lady brought in an " original" Barbie. They gave her $3,000 for it. I laughed - it was a number 4 Barbie, not a number 1. It was MAYBE worth $400, MAX. I so want to buy every number 4 I can get and take them in there!

Love this show. I actually only started watching last week and have since recorded a lot of reruns on my DVR to watch.

I can't wait till they get something I owned or actually know about.

l love this show to. what l dont understand is here in Canada they never show the new episodes. they are all reruns from the first and half of the second season.. so l only watch the show online now.

One thing that I also find funny is when people bring something in that they think is worth a lot of money only to find out that it's a piece of junk. The reaction on their faces is priceless. One episode some guy brings in a Flintlock Pistol that he paid $800.00 somewhere and when he brings it into the pawn shop to make a profit the gun expert tells him that it's a fake and it's only worth a measly $75 bucks. The seller looks like he's about to cry and then starts cussing and stomping and saying "my wife is going to kill me". :rotfl

You can watch that episode here. https://www.cinecast.us/watch/pawn-stars-time-machines-s1-e8-74546.html

I generally enjoy the show, but the fake banter and "what's Chumlee gonna mess-up this week" aspects get a bit old.

I tend to record them and just skip past the scripted reality bits :lol

Also really like American Pickers.

The one I like is Hollywood Treasure. I just heard about it a few months ago but they go after tv / movie props which is more my interest.

Exactly that can get pretty annoying at times. It's almost too obvious. It's funny watching the Old Man trying to say his lines. Such a bad actor. :lol

Hollywood Treasure is a very good show to. Bobby C who is a SSF member is on the first episode. His collection is bad ass.

There is a thread about the show. https://sideshowcollectors.com/forums/showthread.php?t=85091

I love this show, Rick is the man!
