Awesome piece but wish it had the rope spear...it is classic not chain. Still have it on order.

Itd be nice if we could get the same rope used for akuma.

Easy mod if anyone wants to change it down the line.

please be aware this collector is at it again!

Don't pay him gift through paypal!

What I found out is that he likes to go over the paypal protection time to get away with the money.

Here are his paypal emails he uses, I got from other members.

HA! yes he uses anailsnspa and lovelynkv. He dissappeared after i bought for two weeks, so I launched a claim, so he magically appeared, and then started the process, but didnt email customer service, emailed a different email address (audrey P) which I have never seen. another week goes by and i still have my dispute up.I guess he knew no one was going to reply from that address. Then then I have to escalate my claim with paypal, until orders and customer service confirmed with me, at which point i cancelled my claim. It was during comicon so the pcs folks were super busy, but they came through in the end.

It was the worst thing ever, and I think you are right, if i had waited without escalating (which is what he was telling me to do repeatedly) he would have run off with the money...

...the funny thing is that i was debating whether or not to buy an alex off Custom on the freaks forum thinking it was someone different as he was only selling it for 300!!

you saved by ass

Yea lovelynkv sold me a reptile and toldme it was paid in full...come to find out it wasnt so I had to pay the balance... at first he tried to stall to kill the 45 day paypal protection untill I treatened to open a case then he decided to transfer theorder....never give anybody over 45 days to receive your item and or your preorder transfer confirmation

I've also been scammed by that user mentioned a few pages ago (Custom, or whatever).

I've helped a couple of collectors to get there money back.

User name,
Lovelynkv, banned from this forum
tuyethuy, used on the freaks forum now banned.
Customs, currently on the freaks forum with second account.

It doesn't matter if you guys are paying as a gift or if you guys are using a regular PayPal transaction. PayPal doesn't cover purchases of digital items at all but only actual items that can be shipped. So as you are for example in this case buying just a preorder which is transferred digitally you are not covered at all.

So...if somebody who you are buying a statue from is a scammer you are screwed either way.

I foolishly paid gift, but was able to get money back from paypal the second time I put my case forward. The seller I posted last page does have a bad reputation, it might have helped me. I didn't give up, I was so lucky and have learnt from it.

Paypal's options are "friends or family" and "goods or services". Far as I am concerned, when buying/selling a PO the transaction is a service and I would argue that it should be covered.

So then they say their service is for "goods and services" and have many people conducting business on paypal with services, such as my accountant whom I have paid through a paypal invoice. If my accountant doesn't follow through and actually file my taxes I am just screwed? Seems like a major oversight, or worse, a bait and switch on paypal's part.

From PayPal:

"13.3 Ineligible Items. PayPal Purchase Protection only applies to PayPal payments for certain tangible, physical goods. Payments for the following are not eligible for reimbursement under PayPal Purchase Protection:

- Intangible items, including Digital Goods
- Services
- ...
- ..."

A statue is physical goods. A P.O. is buying someone's statue, not digital goods. An order for a statue is just that. Digital goods are game keys, codes, software related, et al. A statue is not digital, neither is an order for a statue. All of this can be backed up by the hundreds, if not thousands, of times people have opened a case with PP, getting their money back from people trying to rip them off.

If someone is selling a P.O., it is for a physical item. The order is attached to a physical item. They are one in the same.

When someone is trying to rip you off, on a statue, it is a crime with serious consequences, so those thinking of doing it, or perpetrating it, are going to pay, big time. The FBI takes these crimes very seriously.

Above all else, do not take what some anonymous person on the internet says as being 100% factual. Consult a lawyer, period. I have family in law and law enforcement, so I have a little help, if something happens. I had a guy rip me off on the internet for some stereo equipment, years ago. I did some things to cover myself and it ended up leading to him being caught. I know he did at least 6 years and still pays me restitution.

If you are ripped off or think you are being defrauded, contact the police and go from there. Ignorant criminals leave way too many bread crumbs these days. Make them pay.
