Tyrael the arch angel (kneeling with his sword to pray before tossing it into the world stone) from Diablo 2.
I was experimenting with using white blotches from the brush tool on black canvas, and smearing (using smear tool of course) them out into the image of the subject. It was mostly successful, but there are some depth issues in how the eye interprets the aspect, like around the sword hilt in front of the face. But, otherwise it was fun to make.
