Finally got to watch the DVD (with an "extras" disc) last night. Had seen it in the theaters but loved revisiting this. May I shout out to the world that one each Johnny Depp just smokes them all in that film. (and funnily enough, found the character of Norrington much more intriguing this go around with his skid row bit).

Anybody got a figure of him (Sparrow?) need to get opinion of a good one to get.

Medicom jack is awesome,even though i just saw this film for the first time this weekend and thought it was crappy and way over-hyped.Medicom sparrow looks to be a great figure if you liked the film.

i agree sort of. while i like the first movie 100x better the second one isn't crappy.

Wow, any more pictures of the Medicom Sparrow Figure?? Buttmunch, do you have any of the NECA product? I saw that they did a statue, but I think I've only seen a prototype picture.

Ironically I just finished watching the DVD too, and now I am resisting the urge to go order a Sparrow figure. Now I need to get around to seeing the first one a second time.

Yeah i'm kinda ticked off i actually bought the DVD.Thinking it was gonna be good it was not.(I liked the first one more as well)I won't watch it twice thats for sure,the woman can all she wants though.

The Medi is okay- the sculpt is almost there, although the paint job isn't the best. The costume is fantastic though.

You can still get the 18" Jack from the first film in places, and then there's the GG anime maquette and the cinema scene.

If you want to spend the cash though - I'd wait for the Cinemaquette.

I only have the 8" figures and they are great. The 18"ers are very well done as well (about PF size). They are all plastic though, no cloth. Still good nevertheless for an "action figure."

BTW this is a deal that should not be passed on for medi sparrow.
And don't worry about the FB i've went through them before for master replicas items they are a big seller and that stuff happens havent had a problem with em..JUMP ON THIS someone!

thats a pretty good price, i've seen it go for about that lately. i need to wait until after the 1st quarter before i start buying extra figures. right now i need to get ready for all the upcoming delays-- for some reason sideshow always does this to me.

the Medi is very nice but i think the Sovereign Studios custom Jack is a tad better, at least w/ his first headsculpt. Cinemaquette looks great but a lil fat in the face.
