The Paley Center is is doing a show on this on Jan. 14. They're showing the movie and then have a discussion with the producer, Jeph Loeb, the voice of Hulk the director and writer.

I get in free - I might go.

Free is always an incentive.

I'm re-reading my Planet Hulk graphic novel (and then I'll probably continue on to the WWH comics) to "get in the mood"... But man oh man, I've got to stop visiting the SSC website to look at the Silver Surfer fighting Hulk dio.... Too tempting (again) when I'm in this mood.

Saw the movie tonight - it's a little better than the other Marvel animateds, probably because they had such strong source material. It's still non-stop action and the story suffers, but it wasn't boring at least. They made a substitution of a major part of the story that I think works pretty well, but I did miss the Silver Surfer not being in it.

They did a panel afterwards - mostly Marvel animated guys, the voice of hulk in this film (who also does voiceover for AMC channel) and Jeph Loeb.

There will be a trailer on this DVD for Tales of Asgard - the next animated which will be released to time with the live action Thor movie.

Was wandering if you've seen it...I saw the transcript of the panel on a Hulk site afterwards...Its a shame that they used Beta Ray Bill instead of the Surfer..Its a legal thing or something...

Still, i'll be the first to buy it on blu ray on feb 2.

BRB is in it instead of Surfer, eh?

It was such a small part in the story, either character would work just fine IMO.

It looks like they spared no expense on the animation...:sick

Also, no Surfer? :banghead

I'm not really a Marvel fan but I LOVED this book so I'll be checking this out.

Just saw it and thought it was pretty well done. Pretty good storyline and I can see how Beta Ray and Surfer would be interchangeable.

Tough crowd on Rizzo but I agree with the no surfer.

I will watch it, no doubt, as I love the Planet Hulk story. I just can't understand why these Marvel animated releases can't be as fluid and detailed as the Anime stuff without all of that Japanese fluff.
