People could flake out anytime on eBay.....happened with a shop a few years ago. Everyone lost the money

Thanks for the tips, guys. I'll follow up and get a name, phone number, etc. But as a whole, I think it's ok as the seller seems to have a physical business outside of eBay.

Yep I agree. This happen to me a few times. So no preorders on the bay ever again for me. Seller had feedback and responds back quickly. Then a few months go by and bam! I got screwed over. I tried to save like 50.00 and lost 500.00 a statue. Very bad experience with preorders.

It's never wise to PO a statue on ebay and pay for it in full. After 45 days you put all of your money at risk. If someone is going to do it anyways, at least use a credit card to complete your payment. This way you can at least report a buyer for fraud to you CC company if they flake on you after the 45 day protection period. So, when paypal and ebay say they won't help you, you'll at least have a chance of getting your money back.
