Yeah, it's on backwards but it does seem flimsier than the thick hide that was shown, it appears. All Magnum is saying, is don't show us something superior to sell and have us receive something inferior. The bat symbol switcheroo pissed me off too. That said, let's wait for more pics.
Btw, I blame all this on zillion for not knowing how to put on a skirt.

Seems to be the new trend around here. The guys paying top dollar for XM pieces love dissing SS at every opportunity, even when it isn't justified.
If it makes them feel better let them get on with it.

I call BS though. You know me I call it like I see it no matter what the company. What is good for one has to be good for the others. Just because XM is the current Darling doesn't mean they are beyond reproach. However, they do listen well, and SSC has been as well.

Ahh Spidey, believe whatever you want to believe I am not on anybody's side! I remember your rookie days here when you defended the curly red eyes of Superman and what happened at the end? You believed something and fight for it! The curly eyes win everybody's heart include me But sadly you and some couple of your friends don't want to see something now! At least you are trying to look more objective than INK but deep down I know you are not These products are called HIGH END COLLECTIBLES! Right? And they are EXPENSIVE! Right? So if a company tries to sell these products with their PROTO, they will have to give us the final product as close to the proto! It is that SIMPLE! No moody photos of them, no photoshopped photos of them, they will have to take the proto photos in daylight and have to show from every angle of it! And lastly stick to the proto which was shown to us! Example:

Why Sideshow did change product photos when the final product doesn't match with the proto? Is it ethic?
And please tell me what is my agenda cause I really want to learn too

Hey now.... I love this Gladiator more then most in this thread. Based on the very few quality pics I've seen I'm more then satisfied with how this came out and am eagerly awaiting my delivery. Price has nothing to do with it for some. It's all based on quality for me and I certainly would never take the pompous my expensive XM statue is better then your SS statue approach. Im sure your not directing that statement at most but that seemed like a pretty general statement geared towards XM fans. If XM screws up on one of their releases they will be hearing from me just as loudly as any bunk SS piece or PCS or whoever. Doesn't matter who makes it. Either it's done right or its crap. No labels need to be involved. SS is getting the blunt if the nerd rage right now because of their Apoc and Spidey CQ. Rightfully so as those two release were dodgy at best. XM sends me poop I'll post all about it as well buddy

I am totally agree with you buddy. I just want my statues perfect. That's it and simple! Who cares if it's a Sideshow piece or XM? At the end I am not the owner of these companies
I JUST WANT MY STATUES PERFECT or AS CLOSE AS to the PROTO! And with PERFECT QC!

I agree... Hope mine looks just as good. However....

Spidey tries to call them like he sees them... Even though there are times we don't agree (Batman Pose)he will defend his opinion and admit when he might be wrong about something (the CR Superman being an example).... What more can we ask???
Having said that... I don't know enough about any defending of the XM Magneto you might have done nor do I care... I think you make some valid points about SSC sale tactics... It would be nice to see the proto first... BUT SSC is good about taking back an item that was are not satisfied with (for any reason). However it sucks we eat the shipping cost both ways... But still that is better then paying for the whole thing when it's something you don't like.
Personally I think you should wait to see some better photos (I have been guilty of this also) and even though I think it will still look much cheaper then the proto I am sure that it will look better then pictures of it inside out.
It is amazing how all threads turn into this... Except Superman... That came out perfect. I still wish it did not have worm eyes though

What it boils down to Mag is that anyone who critiques a SSC piece automatically gets labeled as a hater and has some secret agenda according to these sheep.
The concept of collectors paying up front based on a terrific proto only to receive subpar production pieces repeatedly over a long duration of time, and being angry about it, is lost of them completely.
These people actually enjoy getting shafted.

Right on Colin. I knew or at least didn't think that's what you meant. There's just been alot of animosity geared towards XM fans lately and the funniest part about it to me is that most of those guys collect a variety of everything. SS GG XM PCS Bowen Koto you name it! Best to have multiple options then only a few. It's health for the community to have options

Dude I have HAMMERED in SSC pieces as of later, but not when they are bad photos of an improper assembled statue.... JEBUS wait for better pics man.
