Planet of the Apes sculpts?

Ok, going out on a limb here. Lonnie over at frontline has a gorilla sculpt for sale. If I understand correctly, it was done because he was an ape fan (correct me if I'm wrong, Lonnie). Anyway, I know over in the "Save" thread that we have Angel, and Jess and Chris... doing custom ape head variants. But, are there any of the other sculptors around here that ever did any POTA related sculpts? Maybe for yourself, a closet fan, or just to practice? Maybe you didn't think them "good enough" but would you be willing to share them?
Just curious. With all the great talent on this forum, I am a bit surprised to not see more POTA. I guess Spenser is actually the closest to a sci-fi guy with all his great Logan's Run, Flash Gordon, Blade Runner, Aeon Flux, Dr. Who and Firefly work. Ever do any apes Spence?

I am with you all the way. I would love to see a few custom head sculpts but I feel we are in a minority... I have just got a couple of PotA figures and chuffin eck I love em!!!!!!

I actually have someone that may be interested in trying their hand at a few. It won't be for a few weeks minimally. I will keep everyone updated.

Well I have just bought the sideshow apes and i intend to make moulds of their heads and then dremel the hair down and try to rehair them like the HT ones... I love them so much.. Best figures I have bought in years.... I really want to get a few more. I need a head badly. I have a spare Ursus body but no head
