Hey guys i have been watching this thread and i ordered an acplay off of ebay and i got it in today. i got to say i like this kit. i had an older Phicen body with the plastic skeleton with med Breast and and i used everything from the kit except for the bra i used hasbro version here are some pics.

Looks good. Gotta take your word on the color though. Looks pretty off to me. I do think there is an older Phicen out there that has the correct color or very close, but the bodies don't look as good as the newer ones and they can't achieve the same poses.

Yes, they say the feet are tight in the boots and might not stand up without a stand, but the skin tone and bust size are the most screen accurate to the head sculpt

Here there are the pics i promissed. As I said, I have used the suntan S02A being this quite accurate for me. You will need a stand to keep her standing but this is not a big issue for me.

For those who are having problems with the bra, this is what I did today; basically I glued a wire on the inside and it works very well ! Now I can adjust the bra to the breast

The next step is to replace those yellow straps.

Pulled the trigger with Ekia;now comes the waiting.Wife(who actually placed the order)says they expect delivery around mid-October,so I estimate I can start working on her around Halloween.Reasonable,as I usually have several projects under work at the same time.Feel a little sad that my own sculptural effort is abandoned,but she just wasn't working out for me;also,the more in-hand pix I see the more I like what I'm seeing...PS

Well, I got my kit today. Rushed to try all the different bodies I have for a color match. The old rubber bodies are too peachy. The Asian tan body (SL08), which falls in between pale and suntan, isn't very close either. Unfortunately, the body that comes closest, and it is a pretty nice match, is the Sparta Warrior with the EX bust. Of course! So I went with the old S02 tan, the very first steel skeleton. I just threw this together as quickly as possible using pieces from the Hasbro figure mixed in. I like it. Will work on it more when I have time.

We have a solution to the skin tone and the bra/bust. Great solution with the wire btw.

well now that you guys seem to have solved the body issue, on to the next issue. The suit is all kinds of wrong. Size, color, material. Lets face it the only "good" thing about this whole thing is the head.

color and texture can be fixed with a repaint.

nobody has commented on the gold straps? they should be black. See my solution a couple pages back. I haven't seen the back of this thing. Did they at least get the crisscross in the back right?

Im ok with the outfit as is. The big issue was the body match. And a repaint is so off the table for me. Obviously it's a personal choice but im not trying to reinvent the wheel.

I agree that the only really good part is the head. That's why I went with Hasbro bra and bikini plates. They are basically the correct color and design. Almost got the crisscross pattern on the back correct too. I'm going to paint all the gold parts to match and then look for a more correct material. Neither the ACPlay nor the Hasbro is very good.

I will say, that if you want a Slave Leia representation in your collection, it's not a bad way to go.

From what I understand, all are very similar in height. The S17B might be just a tad shorter but not by a noticeable degree.
The new Muscular bodies like the one on the Spartan is actually taller than previous Phicens.
