So I was prompted to run the 2.03 update when I turned on my PS4 this evening and now I can't connect to PSN. Netflix and Amazon streaming work though, so perhaps the update was just coincidental and the PSN network is temporarily down?

i have issues sending messages or adding new logins to mine as of today. not sure if its an update because i dont remember doing one but im getting an error whenever i do one of those two things and that wasnt happening yesterday.

Lol!!! Was it 2011 the first time they were hacked? It's been so long that I forget, but they should've used the time it was down completely revamping how it works. Apparently all they did was apply some new security updates that obviously wasn't good enough.

PSN is working fine for me but I feel bad for Sony. I don't feel like they deserve it
