He's going to have to go away for a couple months -- hopefully people will forget this thread.

Never had an issue, ever.

Some people are not aware though; the only time you will lose picture
without doing something, is if you go over your free memory amount
that's alotted for you. Free accounts only get so much memory.
So you have to maintain your account and delete things you don't want,
to make sure you don't go over. If you do so, you will never have an
issue. I think you also get a warning that you are over about to go over.

I would suggest that people not delete things unless necessary, though, since I sometimes find it frustrating to go through old threads a not be able to view any of the pictures.

Photobucket has deleted more of my personal pics than even Darklord Dave himself....

Still, got to go with the majority here....

Photobucket Site Maintenance

Images and videos may continue to serve during this short maintenance.

I agree, I don't know why people still use photobucket.

Flickr is better as an 'album' system, where folks can see/comment on your photos and whatnot. (and of course you may use them to post on forums etc)

Even imageshack is better. I tend to use it more for the more throwaway shots or things I only intend to post once or twice. But they actually keep all of your photos (if you register an account). I was impressed at how far back they've kept mine.
