It is a shame, but at least we added a few to the list since the pattern got straitened out. Can't wait to finally get Tyler finished!

Dear Ray..
It seems someone does not know what is deposit mean : It means he had made a deal and he should keep his commitment!
I suggest if you can mark clearly in the first page to remind people that , there is no refund available for the deposit unless the project is cancelled. They may just simiply give up the deposit if they cannot afford the balance .

I know what a deposit is.
I was told that it would only take 2 months or so (by Ray) for the shirt and now it's going on 4 months. Somethings came up in my life and since I still haven't received my product, I thought I'd ask for a refund. Didn't realize you'd make this big a stink about it.
It's fine though, I'll keep my preorder.

I totally understand about other events coming up, but to be fair to Kato and other artists offering their work, the deposit is not only to protect the buyer ensuring they'll get one of a limited run, but also to the seller, knowing they have a serious customer and compensating them a little upfront for their time and material costs, in this case Ray's design work and Kato's fabric search, tailoring and printing expense. If enough people pull out of projects they have committed money to getting off the ground it can really screw things up for these small scale artists. When items are this limited and time consuming each order really does count.

Deposit is so that the artist can buy the materials needed without taking risk out of his own pocket.
Kato has now bought said materials, using your deposit. It's gone, you shouldn't get it back IMO.

But I've also come to realize that the anticipation is often time the most exciting part, the idea of enhancing or always improving, or little things to look forward to is often my reward to myself for my real life/work.
We're lucky to have someone as dedicated to perfection a Kato on this project. He had me perfect the design a couple times to get it just right and took time to find the best method to print the pattern. His dedication is always worth the time it takes to produce great work and we would'nt want to settle for less than the best after putting so much time and money into our custom projects
