Yikes, that gap is pretty bad. I am sure they will fix it for the production pieces, but you'd think they would make sure the piece they took to SDCC would be flawless.

Isn't it supposed to be like it is in a flower pot so there would be a gap?

Could be the pin in the head or the depth of the hole in the neck is a little off. In any event its time to get out the dremel.

You really have to look at it from underneath o see it though so unless you display this on a shelf that's 8' high we should be fine.

Honestly I haven't seen one bad pic of her so far.

The head might not be fully seated on the torso. Besides the gap in the neck, there is also a gap in her hair on HER left shoulder that wasn't in the proto pics. I'm sure where they have 180+ statues to set up for the show that some might not be set up absolutely perfect.

yea i noticed the break in the hair as well so im thinking it just wasnt placed firmly onto the body properly. maybe its fixed today.

The only way the production run looks this good is if SS has an independent QC representative in China.

Everybody is trying to cheap out as MSRP goes up and quality goes down. WE DEMAND THIS LEVEL OF QUALITY IN THE FINISHED PRODUCT.
