This PFF is the first one I bought based solely on the sculpt. I was going to skip Poison Ivy, but there's just something about this statue. It oozes sexiness. It's hard to ignore.

I just wonder if the REG will ever sell out. How they can make more EX pieces of her than the Joker is a mystery to me. Is she really that popular or was this a case of peeps jumping the gun and not wanting to miss out on the next DC piece since the Joker sold out so quickly? I have a hard time believing there are more Ivy fans than Joker fans.
Either way, this is a stunning piece that I can't wait to add to my collection.

You do realise that they also made more Psylocke and Rogue PFs than either the Spider-Man comiquette and Wolverine PF right? Sideshow isn't doing anything new.

It's only because she appeals to more than one market. There are collectors who just collect anything Pin-up/Sexy/Cheese Cake and then there's the comic collectors. So the ES being higher doesn't surprise me.
And it also basically tells me that My initial thought of the Batman PF having a reg ES of 3500 might be short about 500pcs.

another reason for high ES is sideshow is being smart here, i think
probably there wont be a comiquette line here for Dc , so only Ivy fig at 1/4 will be released at least for next 5-6 years and this Es gives new collectors a chance at owning one,
Yes, but both Spidey & Wolvie pieces are sold out in both REG & EX editions. REG Psylocke and Rogue are still available I believe. I wonder if that will also happen with Ivy. I guess we'll find out soon enough.

Spider-Man and Wolverine were released way before the other two X ladies. Besides it is irrelevant if they are sold out or not. Sideshow believes that female sculpts sell well simple as that.
Besides people said that the Joker EX had a high ES and there are still loads of people waiting on the waitlist. Why wouldn't Sideshow raise the ES with a statue this gorgeous?

Exactly. Poison Ivy is the most beautiful female sculpt Sideshow has done in my opinion. Sideshow will have no problem moving 2500 Reg version....unless the factory completely botches her up

I'm so glad I was never that much of an X-men Fan. If I had ordered that and seen the final product I'd have freaked out.
I have no issue with the ES. I just truly wonder if Ivy will be popular enough to sell out 2500 REG pieces to go along with the 1500 EXs. That's a lot of Ivy statues and was the only reason that I mentioned that Spidey and Wolvie were sold out. It may be irrelevant to you whether a statue sells out or not, but it is very relevant to SSC. In the end, I'm just curious as to whether or not this character is popular enough to sell out in both REG & EX editions.
I do agree that this is an incredibly beautiful statue. I had no intention of picking her up myself but was floored with how good she turned out in the proto pics. I guess that's why the ladies sell so well.
I'm tellin' ya. DC is a whole different ball game from the numbers we are used to seeing

The only thing I'd complain about if I were to complain 
is the ES for the EX, but I'm not complaining. It's such a nice statue 1250 is okay with me. As far as the regs the ES is high because so will the demand be for people who missed out on the EX and such a nice statue.
