Besides the eyes. I dont like the new color of hair and thinner eyebrows. Also in the new pic there is no shading at all on the face compared to the SDCC pic. Less eye makeup and no shading take away all the features of the sculpt.

Here, this may help people. Something I whipped up. I tried to match the lighting in the production piece a little more.

Ok so first of all the pic quality is nowhere near identical and I actually think the production piece is still very nice.

THAT SAID! I'm trying to pin-point exactly what makes the SDCC one so sultry and the recent one less so and I'm having trouble.
I think it might be the brow that is less 'frowny' but it's hard to tell for sure.

What bothers me more from the recent pic is that the skin has completely changed color and now has a green hue. It creates much less contrast in the colors and I hope it's just the pic.

edit:

I think you may be right, it's the face shading that is creating a less sultry look.

I would encourage everyone to cancel.

An excellent choice sir.

Haha, Mr. Instigator! :rotfl

As I've said elsewhere, and totally agree that the comparison is a little forced. The premise for doing this comparison is invalid since the lighting conditions are very much different between these two pictures. It's not at all that bad that people are making it.

Goggly eyes is a different matter, but this is a "common" fault, and can be credited to most pieces available.

I think the skin tone difference is heavily in the lighting. They may not be exact, but I think the lighting plays a huge factor.

As for the hair color; it looks more deep red in the production piece and more orangey in the SDCC pics. As for the hair, I much prefer the deeper red color vs. the orange color.

I prefer the new hair and skin color, assuming them to be different beyond the lighting changes. I wonder how much it would cost for someone to add plants to the stomach area too. I really can't stand it being exposed :lol

I have a feeling some of you guys will feel pretty silly after you get yours in hand and realize that she still looks great.

What's the problem? We're all worried and the only shot we have to work with is a bit frightening. If she turns out just fine when we get her then we won't feel silly we'll be relieved and happy. Of course for now people are going to worry and jump to extremes they are paying over three hundred dollars for a piece greatly anticipated for months now.

This is Dutch all over again. One picture turns up, and everyone goes ape****.. In every direction.

Take a break people. Drama queens, the bunch of us..

The problem is that some of you are getting very upset and very let down over something that could be nothing, and going on and on about it. That's the problem.

I hope it's the lighting 'cause compared to the prototype that one on the left looks like crap on a stick. LOL Maybe they sent Nuremberg the bad ones.
