I could be wrong but my eyes tell me zoom pics #1,#4,#6 are of production piece, the rest are from proto. To be honest the deformed is minor and bearable if don't compare it with the proto side by side.

I still like the original better. That left eye is bothering me. It's smaller than the right and looks like she injured it and can't open it all the way. Don't get me wrong, it's a great statue but when I compare it to the original, I don't like it. If you never looked at the original, it's great.

Not the same piece? Two diferent expresions? No, it's the flash of the camera :exactly:

so,i think we have a epic win with this, only left to receive the piece in perfect condition

Im waiting to see yours homemade shots, american buddies :1-1::hi5:

The production piece looks more realistic to me, but somewhat less appealing. Still it looks to be the first SS DC piece that I'll be happy to own. Passed on the 1:1 bust, and even though I got the Joker, I'm not overly fond of it.

Starting to get aggitated. I shouldn't study this thing like I am but I'm noticing a lot of things I don't like. I know the lighting and things like that affect it, but what the **** did they do to her thigh/hip area? She gained a few pounds. The ivy on the left side near her hip needs to come down some. There is no longer a crease on her right leg near the ivy. I don't know if it's the lighting but it looks like her legs are a lighter shade of green and I don't think it's flattering. :slap

No, but I think for $349+, maybe people should be a little more particular about what they're getting. It's not cheap, and any changes made should really be improvements. Just my opinion, let the bashing begin.

It is about being realistic. If you want your statues to match the prototype 100% then you are in the wrong hobby. The prototype is painted by a professional painter, the production by factory workers. Plus you admitted it yourself that lighting can be a big factor in the differences. I seriously do not see the problems you are complaining about (bigger hips? smaller left eye? missing crease?).

Production looks good enough that I will take the gamble and order the Ivy. Hopefully it will look good enough in-hand or I will use the 30 day policy return. Since I am near enough to Thousand Oaks, CA maybe I will get it early and post ASAP so people can see.

Then why keep visiting the thread? The piece isn't out, you already formulated an opinion on it, so you don't need to keep coming back if it annoys you so much what people say :wave

Would mind personally warning me every time someone posts something that has already been beat to death?

Thanks.
