I don't have my Ivy yet to rank them but Lady Death, Storm, Rhino, and Baby Doll were all home runs IMO

Well, Storm and Scarlet Witch, and while Storm was a beautiful piece I don't know if she touches Ivy.

Looks like the factory that painted Ivy is pretty consistent with the hair to skin paint issue.

Not a deal breaker for me though. She looks awesome regardless.

Eyes are straight and no breakages yet, due to better packaging, etc. I think we have a winner here. Glad I jumped on the EX. Mine arrives Thursday. Can't wait!

I think you are all right, I think I need glasses. My eyes are mess up and can't seem to separate them at first. But thats the statue in front of the painting is it? Looks so awesome together! I'm sure I'm not the only one who had a hard time deciding. Good news is she finally shipped and says Friday! I know ups won't be on time. It's just too fast. I bet Monday.

Still remain unconvinced by the pics you guys are posting, paint job looks very sloppy

The only paint issue I see (at least via Averone's pics/video) are the two strands of hair that are resting on her shoulders. There is a noticeable section that is supposed to be the red hair that looks incorrectly painted skin tone.

It's the paint where the hair meets the skin that's my biggest problem with the pics posted so far but y'know everyone who has her in hand are saying nothing but complimentary things about the piece so I'm guessing it looks a lot better in hand

I can tell you that mine doesn't have those issues, as it's painted as close to the skin as possible without giving it that 3D flesh into hair appearance. That said, I'm not 100% sure that it's not the pictures of the statues making some of these paint apps look worse than they are (and even then, it's just that one minor area that's any cause for concern it seems!) In person, this is a simply stunning piece. I love it! The paint app is beautiful. The vines are miniscule in terms of complaints, as they look great from far away, and solid enough up close (if people want to look that close.)

If you're hesitant, I don't want to push you to spend money you'd rather not. I have no interest in picking up Harley; however, plenty do and that's fine. Once pictures of her come in, I still won't jump on the train. So if Ivy is like that in your eyes, and she just doesn't speak to you, then that's all good. I still love it, and that's all that matters to me. However, if you've always been on the fence and were just waiting for in-hand pictures and now it's just the paint apps holding you back, be sure to think about it! Mine looks great, and I'll never regret picking it up. It's definitely not a sloppy paint in my opinion. Maybe it varies, but from what it sounds like it's the hair that's your main issue. Is it a gamble worth taking? Only you can know the answer to that.

I guess if you live in the States, or can get it somewhere you can return it, the best advice I can give you is to order it, see it in hand and if you decide then that the paint job on the one you receive isn't up to par then return it for a refund. It's definitely a superb piece though, and it'd be a shame to miss out if you're just nervous about the QC that doesn't look to be make or break with this piece!

Anyways! Love the statue, happy it comes with 3 plants for the regular version. Really wasn't expecting that.

I also keep looking at the pics and the video - Paint is very sloppy, where her hair meets the shoulders/chest, the vines around the legs, and the outfit around the butt area. But the hair is the worse. I am canceling mine tomorrow.
This is too much now - Each and EVERY recent piece from SS has an issue of some sort. WTF is going on??????
