That Avengers suit looks like ____ing pajamas. It's going to be pretty hilarious. I'm genuinely excited about the movie, but man it's Whedon....it's gonna be rough.

I like the first Cap. The Avengers version looks horriable. I hope SSC makes a better Thor too because it was way too scrawny looking.

There's a big difference between set shots and screen shots.

Just look at how terrible his feet look, but you don't see that on the screen.

Very tough choice tbh, Avengers Cap looks more akin to a proper comic book suit whereas the original is what you tend to see more and more in recent films based on comic books in that the suit is done in a more realistic (not sure if that's the right word) way.

I like them both though and I think it's cool that they've done both the way they have, best of both worlds really :)

Awesome post :clap

I don't know if buy the captain america PF or wait... maybe sideshow do another one with the new avenger clothes.

The first two shots isn't even Evans.

I don't see how the foot thing is relevant to the costume.

We're talking about the suit, I was use those photos to show how bad it can look in set shots as apposed to screen shot from the actual movie. Same with the foot shot, look terrible in those set shots but on the screen you couldn't tell they were fake feet.

Some crude Photoshop. I know, people will still say the Avengers costume looks horrible, but at least we can test the theory that the helmet makes all the difference.

I should do Dark Knight bat suit with an Adam West cowl for the heck of it and see what people think.

The only thing I like about the new suit is his gloves & boots.

I think they probably should have used a material with a little more texture and and sheen to it, then it would look less like pjs. But to me, the design and fit are accurate.

Whats the purpose in photoshopping? The outfit is what it is. The fims will be out in just over 2 months. This outfit as much, if not more like any other comic book version of any other film made. Get over yourselves. Accept it. You don't have love it, but it is what it is. :cuckoo:

These are my opinions. Just like you gave your. And I am not singling anyone out. The outfits been said to look like pajamas. Just about every comic book heroes outfit looks like PJs.

People were griping about the suit, but many of us felt it was the helmet throwing it off. There's no harm in seeing what something looks like with minor tweaks. I don't get why there's continued hostility when we're all just sharing our ideas and opinions.

I for one LOVE the Avengers suit! Why? Because it doesn't look like some military suit. Captain America doesn't represent the army or military industrial complex. He embodies the core principals of what America was founded on. He's not supposed to be a good soldier, but a good MAN, right? That's the way I look at it anyway.

The griping was what I was addressing. Those few that MUST find something to complain about. And if it were just a bunch of people sharing their opinions, that would be fine. But again, beating that same horse to death is stupid. Everyone can't get exactly what they want.
