If people want to put this on a shelf rather than on the wall ..it's a simple fix really. It'll cost some money tho ...which is the down side. Some may not want to pay the extra money.

Anyway, for those that want to ...just get a wide L-bracket. Install the back of the base to the vertical part of the L-bracket like you would on the wall. Just make sure the bottom of the base sits on the horizontal part of the L-bracket. Either paint the bracket black or get an transparent acrylic bracket.

It was kind of a gamble to A. Make it a wall hang. B. Make it an in between scale like 1/7th and C. go easy on the sculpted details.
