I too was waiting for the HT ESB Vader, as my only Vader at the moment is the old original Sideshow one.

But with this amazing discount, I figured I could use the RO Vader as my RO/ANH version and still pick up the ESB version when it's ever released for my ESB/RotJ version.

And by the way, shipping from Australia to Florida with tracking was approx. $18 bucks...

This isn't the first time I've bought from them, but that bottom part on the invoice always throws me off. I'm always worried it didn't convert before I look at my statement and see that it is indeed the lower total in USD

Depending on which currency rate they use, they probably do charge you the AUD cost as they are an Australian company. But I would imagine that on your statement it would get converted to USD etc depending on the currency translation rate used by your provider or bank.

The last time you ordered from Popcultcha was it exactly the same as the USD estimate on your order form?

Mine has never been *exactly* the same in USD as what it says because there is always a foreign transaction fee with PayPal or any of my credit cards.

That's what I thought.

For me it's usually a 3% charge on both my Visa or AMEX cards. And all providers use their own foreign currency translation rates on any given day, depending on what it costs them.

Yeah, They had Thanos last week for 40% off, which was like $166 off. It was a great deal, but they're shipping is an absolute joke!!! Mid-Town comics is in NYC, I live in NJ and they wanted $49.96 for shipping!!! That was outrageous and no longer made it a great deal but rather a good deal. Plus I'd rather have a Thanos with an Infinity Gauntlet. Just thought it would be cool to have his throne since I doubt the next version will include it. I would've kept the throne and sold of the Thanos figure eventually anyway.

I went through the exact same thing! I'm in NJ and when I saw the shipping cost I just closed the web browser.

Yeah I stopped bothering to even look at Midtown Comic's site because I know their shipping is outrageous and kills any deals you might find. It's funny that Pop Cultcha charges me less to ship from Australia than Midtown Comics who is only a couple states over.

Midtown's shipping system is a joke. 8% on everything over $200, I believe. They should really ditch that and learn how to just have their system calculate actual shipping prices.
