It's a shame the 10% only applies to regular retail price. It won't stack with items already discounted on the site. Still some good deals, but would have been some great deals.

Has anyone used Popcultcha for larger pieces like Prime 1 1/2 and shipped to US? If so, do you recall how much shipping was? I'm considering picking up a Prime piece.

I used them for Iron Studios Falcon 1/4 that SSC lists as 44lb./international weight 72 lbs. Shipping and handling around $120 using ECI - I think they had something cheaper at the time you could pick. One of my IS 1/4 Winter Soldier is from them and he shipped around $100 to U.S. international weight 52 pounds last year (shipping prices may have gone up - again:dunno)

A bit more than SSC which I think was around $70 for WS #2.

On the other hand after the first order I had Popcultcha pennies to lower the cost, and was pretty impressed with Australia mail:clap. Stuff shows up faster than in-U.S. shipping, so far no damage. Popcultcha for me has become a go-to at times. Like I wait too long but then I can find it at Popcultcha and hope the exchange rate is working in my favor at the time:cool:. Plus the one time I contacted them, they were responsive.

There's some online complaints - but compliments too, so far I've got no reason to NOT order from them except exchange rates aren't always on my side. My figs showed up in perfect condition. Won't say I haven't read some complaints - a lot about Funko POP boxes:dunno - but if it weren't for Popcultcha I wouldn't have my IS Falcon statue and a few other HTs.

Thanks for the response. I've used them before for Hot Toys and the brown shippers were wrapped in bubble wrap. I was fine with it. I have points and with the sale the Prime 1 Joker is around $1650 before shipping. Even if the shipping rate is really high, it's still probably lower than what I would pay at Sideshow or Prime 1. Only concern is returning if there are issues... that's a risk for me.

It is re breakage. Was sweating over Falcon for sure and then he shows up flawless:love. The whole huge box wrapped in bubble wrap. And fast ship, too.

Reading their site carefully seems like Popcultcha will inspect a piece before shipping if asked, but it's clear they'd rather ship sealed and then deal with an issue. You could call/e-mail about your concerns. Then again, worst case you can always get a credit card company involved if you have to. So I figure it's in Popcultcha's interest to look after international customers. Chargebacks cost the seller money so they prefer to avoid them. Also seems from reading FB posts that customer service at Popcultcha depends on who you get on the phone.

Also you could try and see if a U.S. source will match Popcutcha's price? May not hurt to ask.:dunno for expensive pieces.

On the surface these seem like good deals but then you add in shipping and tax and any international transaction fees and it seems like you can get better deals elsewhere.

I've had good luck with them on a few occasions, but I'm in the US. I have a CC that waives FX fees and sometimes they're pricing is equal to Sideshow for exclusives that I've missed out on (Knightmare Batman). You have to do your research though.

Not sure what you mean by tax - in terms of shipping it cost me $52 for three HT figures from there to California which isn't bad at all. I think there are pretty good deals to be had all, things considered, on some items.

I put something in my cart to see what it would cost and there was something listed for like $12 or so in tax. Maybe it’s because I didn’t completely fill out an account with my address and stuff but I had the site set to US dollars.

Yeah, for me it worked out even against 'bay prices for new figs - thanx to the Popcultcha pennies too my shipping was almost 0$.

Why wouldn't the 10% work for U.S.? If you have "Popcultcha pennies" (new customers won't have any rewards) u can use on anything 'coz those are like saved rewards, like Sideshow wallet. For the 10% code, it says 10% off in-stock action figures, busts, statues but u can't use for preorders or already discounted stuff.

IMO 10% off to the U.S. is probably gonna get eaten by ship costs tho unless it's a *pricey* item? Unless you combine the 10% code with pennies to get the cost down more.

The largest item I ever shipped from Popcultcha was the PlayStation licenced Uncharted 4 diorama, which was big... That was to New Zealand though which is only 3-5 hours away International flight time. Nonetheless the shipping was no more expensive than a sixth scale Hot Toy from them, and much cheaper than getting a Hot Toy from Sideshow (which always goes from Hong Kong to New Zealand)

Great figure, great price. :hi5:

TWS Fury is a great figure and so is Banner - tho maybe Banner's sculpt could have been tweaked. Still - for one thing, once again Popcultcha and/or Aussie post gets here in lightning speed - go figure, I've waited longer for U.S. shipping:google. Unbelievable. Tracked these guys to the post office and called - they said I could pick up if I wanted to instead of waiting for delivery tomorrow.

For another just blown away by the tailoring of both outfits - maybe it's easier to pay attention with street clothes but it's insane - perfectly lined coats and jackets. Fury esp. a great sculpt:love. Now Fury is in hand can't believe for a while I was dismissing him from my "TWS set". I wouldn't mind having another of these so I can get him in the hoody look. Plus I'm gonna guess that this may be the only Banner that comes out, maybe. Really like Ruffalo as the Hulk so happy to have him.

Thanks, Popcultcha!:blissy:dance W. a late start collecting HT Marvel - I've paid up-market prices at times - especially for TWS Bucky (no regrets tho) so it was nice to get a good price for a change.:clap Trying to fill in the holes for Marvel's first 10 years - more or less - 'coz seems like the market figured out that Feige is gonna overturn the MCU so either grab the "classic lineups" while you can - I dunno, does the market ever down? :dunno

Ordered Nick Fury as Well Yesterday, for apparent Reason the 10% Code is not working on the weekend, so ordered it off without the 10% off

Popcultcha will always let you do one or the other. During Halloween, Xmas sales etc penny discounts are disabled on already discounted items..
