Oh i see. Have PCS previously released any busts befre that arnt 1:1?
They released a ~1:3 Street Fighter bust line that took a more realistic approach compared to their mixed media statues. It failed miserably though in terms of sales. Akuma took about 3 years to sell out on Sideshow and Blanka has been well in-stock for over 2 years despite its low ES and price cut. Jerry has never ruled out attempting a similar scale bust again so you never know...

I remain hopeful this is 1:3 or similar as I much prefer the smaller scale. No room for life-size busts here :(

I agree, a smaller scale rather than 1:1 would be my choice also

I will no be buying any 1:1 MOTU busts. If I can pass on Vader and Batman, I can easily pass on Skeletor. If this is 1:2 or 1:3 then I might reconsider depending on the price. I just don't have the space for 1:1 busts in my collection.

Mhmm... that's odd... why would they do a heavily inspired Filmation He-Man, and then this 200x Skeletor :dunno...
Exactly the same issues the ThunderCats line had... not good...
One is a figure, the other a bust, i.e. different lines so why does it matter where each is drawing inspiration from? It's a new, expensive license so throwing all eggs into one basket would be a giant risk.

A little disappionted i must admit. Had high hopes for this line but with recent news of not including Mixed Media and now the inclusion of busts i cant help but feel a little deflated. Was hoping for the same as we got for the Thundercats (or what we were going to get with the Thundercats!) Liono was released and all was well, then a decent Mum-ra and then Tygra, Cheetara and Panthro were to follow...basically all the main characters would be covered in 1/4 and they were all to have mixed media...

i just see the He-Man line flopping after 3 or 4 pieces...i really hope it doesnt but its just my gut instinct..:(

Because Mattel has retired the 200x look, so they might not approve this bust... ;)

I'd rather they NOT follow the ThunderCats model actually...
Lion-O was a mess IMO, specially since he was bigger and bulkier than Mum-Ra and their looks were completely different. Tygra was 100% cartoon inspired and was the best looking of all 3... but the inconsistencies of the previous 2 hurt this line

Yesi really hated how lion o was bigger than mumm ra. Ialways thought mumm ra was like double the size of lion o. It seem way off when they are side by side in scale.

It was just a bad line in general. It was poorly handled so of course it didn't last. So far the MotU line seems to be much better handled.

I liked the thundercats line, just the scale was off with mumm ra. He looked so small next to lion o. If they made the rest I would have bought them. The reason I didn't buy tygra was the 400.00 plus price tag. I was waiting for a clearance sale more so on the bay. Since lion o and mumm ra both was on sale on the bay and other forums for around 250.00 I was just trying to scoop up a good deal. Looks like it cost the line to end :(

I actually didnt like Mum-ra so didnt buy him...hence why i liked Lion-o so much. I can imagine comparing the 2 side by side wouldnt have worked. Still have Lion-o in my collection as i really liked him. Now wanting to stick He-Man next to him, both with the sword poses so hopefully will look good together

Not sure if it has been handled better as its still too early to tell. The Thundercats Line had pretty much the same hype and promise that the He-Man is now recieving. Only time will tell

Anyone else see the first images of the next character in line for release in the PCS He-Man collection? Its Evil-Lyn! And a CGI proto pic was shown in their latest newsletter (hopefully someone can post up some images soon) :hi5:

Who cares about the next PF. PCS hasn't finished the first one yet

:lol I kind of have started to feel this way about PCS. They try to announce a new statue or show off teasers for an upcoming statue pretty much every other week and with such a huge backlog of stuff, essentially all of which keep getting delayed, it can be hard to get excited. I really do not want to preorder Evil Lynn because He-Man is already delivered to our doors. If they are going to have such an aggressive line of statues then they really need to step it up in the quality control and speed department. No point teasing so many statues if we don't see them for years.
