Same here I love sf but got very pissed by paying bison and guile with retail price, I got ex and regular bison and regular guile, over $1 k for those two. And eBay is selling $250!! The chun is never gonna sold out. With this high es and price I thought about sell all of them already.

Amen to that brother...i paid almost 900 bucks for Guile and Bison regulars with shipping and taxes from SS,now the same 2 i can buy for the price of 400 bucks brand new MINT IN BOX for both together...thats freakin nuts!!! I am not a basher,and i love Jerrys work most of the time...but i cannot sit by and have 50 percent losses within a year of the statue coming out...i have never seen that before in my life,i dont buy stuff for it to increase in value or to flip,but paying retail for PCS SF PF'S anymore is just money being thrown away...maybe when Jerry reduces edition sizes i will start paying retail,but any character that is not Ryu,Akuma or Sagat...will be a no brainer for me....sad thing is the trend is now falling into his other lines....dude some guy won a brand new scorpion statue from PCS on ebay for 130 bucks...i dont collect the MK line,but didnt that statue just come out a month or two ago...see what i am saying.

Yeh i hear what you guys are saying maybe i should have not ordered of SS and got it off ebay later but i just dident want to take the risk because the EX was only 200 ES i thought it would sell out easily and raise in price... like ryu, akuma and vega. bad luck this time i guess

Oh well what the hell. I just went ahead and order the blue and red one. I hope these will turn out good. It's better then missing out later on for whatever reason. I don't have the time to keep checking anyways to see whats the best price for these. These will be my first pcs statues. If I like these I will buy more from them in the future.

You dont have 1 minute to take a look on ebay or on the buy and sell thread to see if there would be a Chun Li statue for sale...but you have the time to post on forums like this regularly...good luck with paying retail for her dude,but imo thats a waste of money,since this is your first PCS SF statue,you will learn down the road,there are only a couple SF or EX's characters are worth pre ordering anymore from that line,but to each there own.Congrats

I agree with you. Your making me feel bad about buying these. I hope I'm not going to be sorry later on. I guess these are at least chun li more popular than a few others. I did take a peek on the bay and they didn't have the red one the reg one there was not too many on. So I gave up looking all the time and just bought in. I'm worry that a red chun li could be htf and I do t want to miss it like I did with all the other sf statues. Bison looks kind of cool might pick him up for much less later on. Chun li who knows if she will be less.

Honestly i am not trying to make you feel bad at all,i am very happy for you that you are excited to get her.She does look good,minus the red stuff around her eyes,and the eyes being changed.But the reason why they are not on ebay is simply because they are still available on the SS website,flippers arent gonna buy that item if after a year the item still sits readily and available for sale at SS...whats the point,they know the interest in the item is very low,so buying one from SS,paying all the shipping/taxes and fees,is gonna put them in the negative when they sell on ebay,so who's left...just us collectors right...well all of us already pre ordered one from SS,now that there SF PF line comes with bigger edition sizes,the orders can all be easily filled for customers who are buying one,and extras on the side...plus the item hasnt even shipped to anyone...so how could they even be on ebay already...all ebay will provide you with now is preorders,the same thing SS is offering.Just wait till all of them ship out,wait till ebay has say a dozen or more listings for them...then you will see what i am talking about.Just be patient,but i understand that can be hard for some or new collectors.Yes Chun Li is popular,maybe even more than the Guile and Bison who dont sell so well anymore...but she is not Akuma or Ryu...just take a look on this thread,is anyone besides you and i,and maybe a couple others even looking here,or caring to post or discuss anything about her...the SF line has fizzled out,as a fan of it i hope Sagat will bring some life back into it,but alot ppl who started collecting from day one have jumped ship because of the slow release of characters and the lame delays excuse.You cant deny it,the reason why so many ppl want the old stuff is also because it some of Jerrys best work,sculpted by him by hand,with small edition sizes,and ex edition sizes that were 200 or less,but now he has more regulars,plus SS EX,and then his own PCS EX...which to most old school collectors of his line,is now the true EX.There are alot of SF fans out there,but how many of them collect statues,most just play the game,and thats it.So paying 350 for a statue doesnt even cross there mind,i have lots of friends who love the franchise,but do they buy SF statues...nope not there thing.Plus now the company is going digital with all there sculpts,that doesnt matter to some,but to some it matters alot,like me...Good luck with Bison,to me his fabric really hurt that statue and an ex that still sits on the SS website for sale years after its release.I am sure you will find one for 200 to 225

Thanks bro I will see how this order goes if later on they get alot cheaper. I won't be buying from SS anymore for these, but instead wait for eBay to get a big discount. I hope I'm wrong. We shall see.

Saw the pics at SF and she's got googly eyes. I'm not sure about the red paint around the eyes also. Everything else looks good though.

Yeah I went ahead and order the reg and red ones. Looks good but the eyes I will have to decide in person. I hope it's only a bad batch and not all of them are like that. Remember vampi PF and Lara croft? Some were excellent and some were bad.

As always, seeing statues in photos and seeing them in hand is never the same. Then seeing it next to the rest of the line just elevates how nice it is...

I wish they would have kept the original face; but the body looks real good.

Looking forward to seeing Sagat at Comic Con. Even though I dont collect PCS anymore, I'm still curious to see how it turns out.

It just doesn't look like Chun li to me. If not for the clothes I would never suspect it was her.

And the eyes do appear to be odd. Honestly I think the Ryu and Ken look WAY better.

Her left eye looks really off. I don't know why the orange needed to be painted around the black eyelids. Makes it look like she is tired. It just looks plain weird. The rest of the sculpt looks good.
