I think you will change your mind once you see the actual statue. The new costume has a lot more detail and features that will look great in statue form. I think the old costume would be too simple.

I reallly like the new costume.. So much details on it.

It's a cool design for the most-part, but I really don't like the look of the new mask and also the skull belt. IMO they make the design more tacky and it could have been a nicer updated version without them.

I didn't even notice those witch shoulder pads, but now that you've pointed it out, they look ridiculous


..and I agree about sub-zero, that looks is ok, it's a happy medium/compromise, his only problem is the silver WWE belt

So you have a problem with the shoulder pads because ninjas are about "stealth" but you are fine with the fact that Scorpions original costume is bright yellow? Hows that for stealth? lol

Man I hope they do a Classic Scorpion Costume like the one we getting as DLC from Gamestop. If PCS only has rights for the new MK game, then this would fit.

I agree. As much as I love the original MK designs. This Scorpion is my favorite costume of his and I'm glad that's what they're going with. The only 3 that's a definite that I will get are Scorpion, Raiden & Kitana. As many great female statues/figures are out there, I'm still hesitant to pick any up, but one of this would be an absolute no brainer.

Seems like with the lack of mixed media on these, they should be cheaper as it is less time consuming to cast these than to sew clothing I would think. And $330 for a statue seems a bit high to me. Had this been a classic costume instead of the modern one, might have bit, but I'm going to pass for now.

And with the extreme poses, it would make exclusives hard. I mean an unmasked head would look weird throwing the spear instead of blowing fire. A more netural pose like the SF PFs would have worked more for interchangable parts. Plus PCS can't do cheap exclusives like color change outfits either like with SF. All of the alternate costumes are quite different in the new game (Shang Tsung, Sektor, Cyrax, etc being the more extreme examples).
