yes there will be black base for upcoming SF line but might be change for revisit character like akuma & Ryu

If you want a Ryu PF with the black base,you have to buy the original as Jerry has said many times that all revisted characters will not have the same black base as the current line consists of.

The other site where he pratically lives on,there has been many heated debates regarding this topic of revisited characters over there,and he weighed in and told everyone the classic black base will not be used for them,he just said again a week or two ago

He is gonna make two more Ryu's,one is 1/3 scale (not confirmed whether its mixed media or not) which he is currently working on,and another 1/4 scale version down the road someday in a new pose,as the original is more of a musuem pose,most people are thinking the new one will be in an action pose

They made only 75 (or 85) of those. Quite limited, but that's not why I buy these things.

I didn't care for the Sagat in leotards and head band over the eyes look, so I passed on it.
