Found this interesting release whilst browsing on TaoBao.
I'm pretty sure this is a Por.Toys release, but none of the Taobao listings mention this for some reason.
Great to see 1/6 Dragon Ball releases, even though this is not the first character I'd have in mind for a release. Looks like Yamcha (from Dragon Ball) is their next release.

Looks like a really good release for the price. I didn't end up purchasing this one (as I don't really care much about this character), but will definitely consider pre-ordering the Yamcha they teased.

A fair few stores were selling them on TaoBao, but mostly out of stock of the regular version. Some stores seem to have new pre-orders dated for April, so looks like a restock is coming? But yeah, I think por.toys also have some available to order from directly, so might be the best option for international orders.

Big shame these aren't easy to get. Dragonball is the one anime I'd buy in for a good 1/6 line.

Edit: Their new insta account under Artisanstudiocollectibles says the pre-order for Tao is opening soon, so they might be doing either a second run, or a real first wide run after a superlimited test run, sort of similar to what ACG did with their Tifa, first doing a small exclusive run of heads and then a year later following it up with their first real mass produced run.

I think this is the second one that's been taken down this week. I don't know why their other accounts are getting nuked but not their main one, but they're using a Squid/Hydra logo on their main account now, so I'll bet they keep trying.

I spoke briefly with this guy through Insta dms, I believe this figure will only be sold privately through him. I'm not sure if it's considered bad form to reveal the price he told me, but it's higher than usual mass produced figure costs, lower than high end limited run customs. I think it's a reasonable price, but I'm really wary of sending that much money up front to someone I don't know on the other side of the planet. Maybe if I didn't have like nine other invoices this month I'd be more willing to trust and take the gamble, but I think I'll be passing on this one. His instagram is flooded with comments from people asking how to buy the figure, so I'm hoping the demand encourages this studio to scale up and go through the usual channels in the future.

There's a few sellers selling it on TaoBao, but I believe this one might be the official store.
1299 yuan for the regular version. Don't think deluxe version is getting a re-release, unless everyone's already sold out of the pre-orders?
