Maybe next week we'll see some DC. Last year they had the Superman bust and Ivy the second week and Batman the following Tuesday.

Yea but you know it's gonna be mostly 1/6 figs. Blah!!

I'd be happy with say 3-4 PF's from Marvel and 3-4 from DC as I am straight up Comic guy. Hopefully thats not to much to ask.

That sounds about right, but then you have new licenses like pacific rim that are going to take priority.

Hopefully tomorrow is Sinestro.

I hope and don't, mainly because we've seen a pic of him already, I would prefer characters we haven't seen before. Im mostly waiting for the Flash family, and a Blue Beetle (Jaime) PF just because I think it would look awesome with an LED Arm Cannon.

I like 1/6 for the primary reason of paint apps on the face and skin, but that will soon change seeing as how sideshows paint apps have been improved tremendously over the past years (on their prototypes at least.)

Sorry if this is stupid question but is it weird for sideshow to make such high end collectibles for a movie that still hasn't been released. I mean what if it sucks.

Alot of companies make products from movies that suck, they rely on sales to determine if they will make more from said license, or if their is enough aesthetic design and demand. (that's how I see it).

I agree its a gamble and its a relatively new thing (last 10-15 years). These big budget comic book adaptations brought it on and it seems par for the course these days if you've got a big comic book/scifi/fantasy movie coming out then you'll have not only the usual figures that you'd typically sell in Target or whatever but also high end stuff.

I think its a bad idea personally, a lot of these figs end up in clearance sales coz the movies sucked and no one wants em. How long did Superman Returns stuff linger on shelves? GL stuff?
