I'm having a chance to get one HCG life size alien bust(the one comes with the shoulder) at pretty much retail price, I'm now not sure what to do.
If any of you guys happen to have one in hand, could you please share your thought, I know people were criticizing about the lips, how bad it is wehn you look at in person?

From the pics I have seen I wouldn't own one even if I didn't have my full figure version.

I really dislike that HCG 1:1 Alien bust, it isn't even close to looking like the real character for me. Congrats on the P2 stunt mask however, I love mine!!

Rewatched Alien 1,2 & 3 after a couple of night shifts.

Gotta say 1 is good, 2 is brilliant and 3 is a bit meh.
Cemented my preferred Aliens being the Warrior & Queen.

Although the Dog looks great poor CGI ruined it for me.

Yeah, I personally thing the 4th one rocks! Just good fun... Plus the Aliens look very well done... Which is why I'm guessing CoolProps showcased one of their Alien heads at the CoolProps stand.

Thanks guys! I think I will wait for the coolprops, to see what they're going to offer us.
Only five days to wonderfest! On their facebook, they mentioned that they're going to display 7 pieces in total(hopefully they're all finished versions), and a few props as well.

I'm so glad that I'm not a fan of neither transformer movies nor the designs. And I'm not a hard core comic guy neither.
But if p1s show some terminator stuffs, then the wallet is in trouble.

I've given up trying to obtain this piece. It seems that every example of this that I have bought or seen available has a cracked tail, noticeable to one degree or another. I just don't want it if it has a crack in the tail even if it has been repaired (it is usually very noticeable to me).

Apparently, the magnet in the base was not strong enough and many slide off or bumped off the base and were broken.

Doh, I've almost bought it a few times, but the tail has always been a worry. Hope you get it sorted. It looks great once the teeth are repainted.

What an amazing piece. I think it has much more Giger's feeling than the new sideshow piece.
Super low price ( I paid less than 60 bucks for it) and a very solid piece, even feels like some parts were made out of metal.
The size is very good as well, I think the scale of alien itself is about 1/5 or 1/6, a great piece overall.

I couldn't get the partical refund from the shipping company, I'm only allowed to return it back for the full refund.
I think I'm going to keep as it's a such beautiful and elegant piece and hard to get one.
Hopefully I can find someone to fix it later.

I've always loved that Palisades big chap wall plaque. Congrats on the great deal! It's easily one of Palisades best works. Definitely has that creepy Giger look to it.

Just had a professional framing company frame my 4 photos signed by Ian Whyte and Michael Biehn at Sheffield Comic Con 2015
Been meaning to do this for a while!
