Re: Predator 2 City Hunter 1:4 Maquette

If Wolf LSF is any indication this P2 maquette will do just fine in the after market.

I don't think that is a relevant example, I wouldn't hold out hope for a similar aftermarket response on the P2 anyway. We don't really know how many Wolf LSF's actually made it to collectors homes after damages etc but it is likely to be very few indeed which immediately ups the aftermarket price, basic supply and demand. The regular P2 has a pretty high ES given it's incredibly high price for a PF so will most likely be around for a long time to come. The wolf is also pretty desirable as a design despite the huge fluff up with the leg netting, people haven't shown such enthusiasm for this across the board. I think it is quite likely you will see the regular P2 discounted in future, the wolf flew out the door in a flash making it even more desirable.... people want what they can't have.

That looks a lot better than the early pictures.
They have zero Quality Control, I've seen pictures of an item they've despatched that are pretty shocking.
Good luck. How much was it?

I was going to buy this too but the guy was very rude and generally being an a$$. He refused to give me a phone number and pretty much ticked all the wrong boxes in my book. Also guys as part of his "sales" pitch to me he told me that there might be a delay albeit slight . He told me this after I offered payment in full for early shipping.

I would never trust anyone who trades on Facebook.
Probably a good thing anyway...PM sent :wink1:

This P2 is a maquette not a PF. I meant in terms of the accuracy errors. If people were still willing to spend more than $2000 to buy the Wolf that was known to have a huge accuracy flaw not to mention arriving safely in one piece or not then I believe this P2 despite it's accuracy flaws will sell as well.

Is this turning into the Apoc thread?
All they do in there is speculate about potential future values.

Mention you want a low ES and you get the 'who cares' 'it's shouldn't be an investment'.
I enjoy the piece of mind knowing if I ever need to sell, god forbid, I won't lose a ton of money.

No one can speculate on desirability until these things are in hand. Look at the IM LSB, that piece will never rise in value.

Re: Predator 2 City Hunter 1:4 Maquette

Sure you can speculate. Wouldn't you agree it selling out the same day the ex es was announced is related to desirability? Also I'm sure value comes into discussion in most threads if not all. Can't we just go through the motions? :lol

Not really, that is more to do with SS withholding that info until there was only 30 pieces left. I agree with Col though, at this price I damn well hope it retains its value at least...

Re: Predator 2 City Hunter 1:4 Maquette

Hope SS cleans it up and knocks it out the park. If they do, once in hand pics starting popping up the rest should sell quickly. At the same time the price for the ex will consequently be driven up.
