Re: Predator 2 City Hunter 1:4 Maquette. BACK UP FOR PO.

only because a red line says it is. Not to mention, the angles of the two pictures are 100% not the same. In physical therapy, we would never use a line way off to the side to judge someones posture, so I don't see how that can be applied to a statue either.

Please see the picture I posted, no red line as it isn't needed to see it is leaning, I also rotated the image to flatten out the base.

Re: Predator 2 City Hunter 1:4 Maquette. BACK UP FOR PO.

seriously you rotated the image but the angle of the picture is totally different...you fixed nothing lol. just wait till in hand pictures even the original P1 maquette looks likes its leaning from certain angles..

I'm not sure if we're looking at the same thing. The prototype stands straight (or even slightly to the left as you'd expect from the left leg up pose) the production piece doesn't and it can be seen in several of the pictures from different angles. The P1 maquette is leaning intentionally as that is the intended pose. The center of gravity however is in the middle due to the way his legs are posed widely spread so there is no risk of it leaning more and more over time. I appreciate it feels like one thing after another with this P2... Because it is, I wanted to love this as much as anybody, I was 90% likely to buy it again until the decals were announced so I am not trying to be a buzz kill for no reason, it is clearly leaning however. Let's hope it is just that example...

I am looking forward to in hand pictures...

I see the lean as well. It's slight, but it's there.

Re: Predator 2 City Hunter 1:4 Maquette. BACK UP FOR PO.

This pic probably best matches the original shot as far as angle goes. I do see the lean but without having it in hand its hard to tell, there also should be some weight transfer to the back foot being in that position naturally anyway. Best bet would be to not jump to any conclusions until it is hand.

Re: Predator 2 City Hunter 1:4 Maquette. BACK UP FOR PO.

Did you forget the pic posted a while back where it pretty much already did at the factory?

Ha! True but as it is it isn't leaning to much of a minor degree in either picture from what I can tell. There's a lot of hysteria in this thread, some of it deserved, some is just ridiculous. I have this ordered and despite how much I am disappointed primarily in the accuracy and pose of it I am actually looking forward to getting it and trying to look past 1/6speargate, dredgate, pricegate, mandiblegate, cancelgate, qualitygate, exlusivegate, quillgate, biogate, reviseaftercancelgate, toothgate, decalgate and now leaningeversoslightlytoonesidegate. I just want to get it, throw it against the wall in disgust and blame fedex if need be or like it for what it is :lol

Which bits would you say are ridiculous out of interest? I'd say this is a nice statue with many issues, some sculpt, some due to questionable choices since it was first revealed. It is clearly leaning. It may just be that one of course. Also, you may be right in that it won't lean more over time (but then, maybe it will) But that isn't the only issue, it looks weird being off balance.... Again though, let's hope it is just that one. I really hope it turns out perfect (as can be at this point) for everybody that stuck with it through everything, especially at the price point.

Also, if I knew I could get a full refund, VAT and all, I'd order it right this second as I'd love to see it in person. But I lost a lot of money on the Big Chap LSB and P1 bio, I don't fancy being burned for 20% on such an expensive item... Although I'm to honest to break something, nor should it be advocated. I'd just say it isn't up to standards.

Wolverine...

those both started out straight though. The very tiny lean this may have might be a counter balance angle for it. I wouldn't say that will cause this to turn into those just because of that. In reality, any statue you buy from SS has the potential for leaning. We just won't know til it happens.

Why the **** didn't they add quills?
Face looks stupid...

Well, we were told that no changes were done, when it was put on preorder the second time

Re: Predator 2 City Hunter 1:4 Maquette. BACK UP FOR PO.

I actually quite like it in that picture, aside from the lack of quills of course. Even without them, the unmasked head is still 10x better than that masked head imo. Shame decals had to be used in order to achieve an acceptable look.
