Statue Predator 2 City Hunter 1:4 Maquette.

I purchased 2 EXes of these young hunters looking to display each with different portraits and different switch out hands. But I didn't like how SS used decals and is missing those quills on the head, which for me is a vital part of the character. Anyhow, I don't have him listed, but I'd let one of them go to a "real" Predator fan in here, which is all of you guys I assume.

I would be interested in your City Hunter. Plus it would have to be the summer when I buy it from you say about june time if I can save, where are you located? as its going to germany to get a complete overhaul of the statue. I sent you a PM about the piece

A known predator collector and painter (neny dee) repainted the unmasked headsculpt of mine, IMO it turned out great. I went ahead and repainted the base to a more lava rock look and clear bone structure. And I also repainted lots of the armor with more copperish colors and more accents of green spots of oxidation.

That looks heaps better. I actually saw this for the first time in person today, and was actually very impressed. Only thing I disliked was that I thought the paintjob on the unmasked portrait looked too flat and dry. This repaint seems to fix that as it seems to have much deeper colours and a more wet look to it.

Seeing this in person and how impressive it was made me really excited for the Jungle Hunter Maquette.

Haha, nah I know how a lot of people on this forum are like. I always thought it looked pretty good in pictures, but it's always different seeing it in person. I personally had no interest buying it as I was always holding out for a Jungle Hunter Pred, but I still thought this one was cool.

But yeah, I know a lot of people on this forum can be very critical, especially when it comes to Predator and Terminator. I guess I'm less fussy. I think if I owned this, the only mod I'd do to it is maybe apply some clear varnish, especially on the mouth area, to give it more of a wet look. Would make the colours pop more too. Otherwise it's a great looking piece and if the Jungle Hunter turns out looking like this I'don't be pretty happy.
