Nah its 1:5-1:6. We saw it months ago in the back of the released Atom bust pic

I really don't think this will have any light up features..

they are gonna sell as many 1/5 scale statues as they can and then make the 1/4 scale years from now i bet. Its a good business decision. Who would buy a 1/5 scale pred if they already have it in 1/4? But the other way around people will end up buying both.

Haven't they already done a 1/4 scale Predator 1 Maquette/PF?

I guess some people don't have the space for all 1/4 scale *shrug*. maybe some just prefer something a bit more modest

I can't believe yet 1/5!!! :FREAK: Nooooooooooo!! Sideshow everybody likes 1/4 statues PFs or comiquettes!! WHO SAID 1/5
:pfft::pfft::pfft:---> Sideshow

These "1:5" will be the size many people think the HT 1:6 figures should be. So it would be great to mix these up with some figures.

I don't see how they could miss that out when sculpting him. It seems like a conscience decision not to put it there.:dunno

Maybe it will be a theme with these statues just missing parts to the preds :\

The 1987 one is still missing his spine trophy.. i dont understand how they miss these things.

Either way can't wait for the full reveal this will be a buy just like the 1987 one was. I think this line will look really good displayed together when they all come out.

This is so cool, but there's one problem... Sideshow Collectibles is doing it. :thud:

No Sideshow love in your house mate?

I know. I wonder how many times the bosses have to 'ok' it along the way and not one mentions what's missing.:lol

Some Prod Pictures

Love the pose,i'll be getting all of them in this line if the first 2 are an indicator, now just the wait to see how the paint turns out on the P1.
The diorama's were smaller and they had great paint imo,so no reason why these won't,and before some one points it out, i know that may not be the case! :lol

Sad truth!! :(

I doubt that they even have bosses now to 'ok' any of the new pieces. If they do, their names should never be disclosed else God help them!

None at all, but I'm hoping to change all that with the Wolf LSF. Damn, they better not ____ that up.

Same here bud! But unfortunately...........:(

Dwarf Predator... Nish

I'm not criticising this one for scale but yeah, its time for another 'proper' 1/4 Pred maquette. We have 3 of those from Aliens already. Whats keeping SS from doing one? :dunno

P.S - Did they fix that missing spine trophy on the other Pred statue?

Cheers,
Neo.

That's a great question and I wish I had the answer.

They won't. :(

Cool pose.:)
It is a very cool pose, but I think it is also a weakness for this piece.

In this industry, I think a statue should take advantage of the limitations that figures have. That is, make a statue in a dynamic pose that would be impossible for a figure to reproduce. Only thing is, Greyback never really did anything in the movie other than stand there :D

Remember, Hot Toys has 'hinted' at their very own Greyback. Whether that's in 1/6 or 1/4 is yet to be announced. Yes, we don't know when that will be released, but to be fair, we don't know when this SSC statue will be released either.

Will the HT figure have better paint app and mandible ring?
I'm guessing, yes.
