Statue Predator 2 Legendary Scale Bust

Ordered this and just picked up the P1 LSB off eBay to go with it. Was never taken by the P1 but if I get this I need the first one. Got a decent price on it.
The 2 should look great staring out of my cabinet.

Did get the ex or reg of the P1?

Got the regular P1 for £200 ($310) delivered and the regular P2 from a European seller, no V.A.T or customs to pay.
I only order must have Ex's direct due to the excessive import costs involved here in the U.K :-(
Classic Predator Statue was an instant direct order for me.

Why eBay? I just did a search and I can't find any under $350...but Alteregocomics has it in-stock for $315.

Was a bit worried after reading all the issues with broken dred's, missing hairs and cracks but the seller has assured me it's perfect, fingers crossed.
Strange that there isn't one negative comment on the Sideshow reviews for it. Come to think of it i've never seen anything negative on there, think they must ignore them and not put them up.
Anyway can't wait for this piece, looks amazing to me.

Man I think this piece looks great very tempted to buy it but there has been so many great pieces that have gone up for pro order these last couple of weeks I don't know that I can afford him. But eventually he will be mine as I don't really care too much about the name plate I can just pick the reg up down the road.

Yeah, I couldn't remember. I thought they had nailed the paint apps in the proto. I agree, though, that P2 is loads better. I just hope the final piece is close to what we are seeing here.

No, not at all. The sculpt was messed up. Far too slanted/elongated like P2's head. Which is very sad because at comic-con 2010 they even showed a concept drawing for the P1 LSB and it looked great..head shape was perfect.

As for the paint, I never thought it looked $350-worthy on the prototype. It was always to pale/bland/dull...lifeless. And then of course it didn't look any better on the final product.


This, however..this looks perfect for what it is. This isn't 100% accurate. Nothing will ever be 100% accurate. But it's pretty damn close. The paint is beautiful, the sculpt is very good...this is what I want for the LSB line.

hey guys, just wanted to get some thoughts. I was planning on getting the p1 dio but I am hearing some really good feedback on the p1 lsb. I'm hoping to get some advice which would be the better buy. (In a perfect world I'd get both)

I have the P1 dio which is very nice. If you could find an Ex that looks really cool.
Just ordered the LSB myself. Read some mixed reviews of people loving it and some that think the paint is a bit flat.
Will let you know my views when the bust arrives and post some pictures of then next to each other for you ;-)
The LSB will cost quite a bit more than the dio.
