Just curious - why does it make a difference?

Is it because an open ES will allow you to wait for in-hand pics?

yup, and it means you can get it cheaper on the aftermarket and be in no hurry to get it.

Right - got it.

I've been all over this since day 1 so I'm happy paying regular price to get it ASAP. Plus Coolprops QC is supposed to be awesome so shouldn't have a problem there.

I recently decided not to buy 4 things that WERE on my list, so I'm feeling zero guilt on this right now

1) PCS Kessler Wolf Ex (cancelled & lost the NRD)
2) PCS Dredd Mega-City Ex (decided not to buy just before the pre-order went up)
3) XM Ghost Rider (had a friend doing a "ship forward" for me from Singapore but decided not to follow through)
4) XM Darkness (amazing statue, but I'm going to back off on that too).​

I've been told there is no ES on this. Now, I'm in a bind cause I will be pretty pissed at myself if I buy this thing now and it is still available years from now.

The Sideshow 1:1 P1 bust is still one of my fave pieces - just LOVE having it staring me in the face every day. Same will be true for THIS.
