My closed mouth EX. was fine but your right about the little styro pieces..the one on the forehead is a critical piece to keep it from moving.

It should hold the bust in place on his chest. If it was on his head it would probably break the hairs.

There are 2 foam wedges, one does go against the head. There are clearly noticible cutouts for them both to show where they go.

Weird. I've had two busts, both only had one wedge and a block to hold it in.

There should be 2 blocks,one for the head and one for the chest.There's even a spot thats cut out for both blocks in the styrofoam.

I just received an email with a shipping label but no explanation yet from SS (return and refund or replacement...i requested a replacement so maybe it's a replacement).

I sent the pics and she told me a replacement,just waiting I guess..the other one had a few paint issues and tiny chips but not enough for a replacement as who knows what youll get with the next one they send out.

Check all the hairs/quils around his face are there, watch out for broken dread tips and then the obvious paint chips.
Most importantly post pictures

Picked this up today, my LCS only had 2 and the first one I opened had a broken dred and the second one was perfect apart from one of the quills was loose but not broken so I took it as he wasn't getting anymore in.


Over all I am quite pleased with it and it seems to be solid as its pretty heavy.

I boxed up the savage version last night for a return to SS and I'm amazed any of these arrived without the dreds being broken with the way these are boxed.

Other than packing the dreads separately i'm not sure what else they could do

The P1 bust was shipped facing up the way in the box and there was a lot arriving with broken quills on the face but this one is shipped sideways and the quills don't seem to be near any of the packaging but the dreds are sandwiched in between the polystyrene which is where the broken one was. The dreds on the first one seemed more flexible to me but this one there is no play at all on them. I don't know how else they can package them as they have been done both ways and there still arriving damaged.
