Predator 3D Blu-ray - Anyone buying?

Yeh they looked a bit waxy but it was a clean, crisp image.

And also less detailed.

The 'Ultimate Hunter Edition' is what got me to buy a Blu-ray player. I don't have a 3d TV but Im thinking about getting the 3d Blu-ray anyways.

Picked this up for $14.99 at Best Buy earlier this week. Love the slipcover. I haven't had time to watch the whole thing but scanned some scenes. The meeting of Dutch and Dillon in the beginning, they still look waxy as hell like the UHE but the rest looked pretty good in 3D. Yes, the grain is scrubbed but there still seemed to be a lot of detail showing and helps with the 3d. The jungle shows good depth and separation. If you love the movie and like 3d, I say give it a shot. It isn't perfect but for the price, I think I will be happy with it.

Picked this up and returned it after reading the reviews. But its one of my favorite movies...so I may have to buy it again before the sale is over. The wax version would be a good transfer if they went back and fixed a few scenes that went overboard. People love this movie yet the studio wont give it the tlc it needs

After seeing what was/can be done with Jurassic Park 3D its really aggravating we got a half assed Predator conversion

Yeah, the reviews have been less than stellar. Not what I was hoping to hear.

I'd love for them to do an all new transfer the right way and in 3D.

I saw this over the weekend. To fully maximize tue effect I viewed it on my Sony HMD-T1 . The 3d effects we so so . Mostly the jungle depth and characters on some scenes. Predator didn't get much 3D love Overall Nothing spectacular. The movie itself was enjoyable no matter how many times I've seen it.
