Shouldn't we be seeing the P2 LSB by now? I hope that SS aren't reconsidering because they stuck a 2500 ES on the regular and it's moving slower than expected. Wouldn't put it past them though. I can't wait to get this part of my collection moving along!

I agree..sideshow need to bring out this line a little more faster..compare to marvel & star wars which seems a new piece comes out every week..every other line we have to wait..when the pred lsb came out a alien lsb should came out also to pair up with it..giving collectors more options.

its here yes i love this bust it is also heavy ,everything looked good then pulled it out and saw 4 pieces in the box about an inch in length it was the tips of 4 dreads, not a big deal fixed super easy and cant tell other than that its good now i want more if you haven't ordered it yet do so ill try and post pics but have to find my camera first.

last I heard, SS wasn't giving out anymore replacements on this? or maybe that was just for the Ex . I know a few ppl got turned down on replacements.

Me also thinks it was for the Ex only. Still, SS should be giving out replacements considering that the Ex just has an additional nameplate instead of something associated with the bust itself

Who would mind getting a replacement that isnt Ex? After all, the damage would be on the bust and if SS sends out a regular one as a replacement they would still end up with an Ex! If the nameplate itself is damaged then it would be another story

On a different note, why is the Reg. one still on preorder on SS's website?

Well...

I received my Pred bust and because I asked them to check it before sending it, it arrived flawless...

I decided to add some color to his head and around the eyes and remove his teeth and repaint the inside of his mouth as well as the teeth....

I'm a painter and I've painted a lot of kits in my life but for some reason I could not remove the teeth. I used the blow dryer over and over and although it softened them, I was not able to remove the teeth unless I was willing to accept the fact it was going to crack something and I will have to work twice as hard to get it fixed....

So, because time is precious nowadays I've decided to leave the teeth alone (for now) and add the colors to the face and gloss it to make it look more movie accurate and here is what I came up with...


I added colors around the eyes as well as the top and sides of the head. I used a reddish brown around the eyes and around the head and a raw/ burnt sienna on top and sides..... I glossed everything a couple of times and that made a big difference in my opinion.....I also darkened the gums a bit...

And one more thing.....

The skin is not as white and it is believed to be. It is actually a beige color that looks real good in person...What I do not understand is why the inner top two teeth are way bigger than it supposed to be... I mean, there is a lot of research that goes into a piece and I can not find one photo of the Original Pred that has teeth that big......

AND they have done a Life size bust before....accurately....

I really don't get it......

BTW.....I know everyone said that but this bust is really heavy......careful when carrying it.....I hold it by the front where it connects to the base and put my other hand on the back under his head and shoulders for balance more than anything.....

Congrats for getting it in one piece. Thats an awesome repaint bro. Looks much better and just like the proto peek.
BTW, can you help me with my bust with something similar?
