I've been looking at several realist artists. Haven't chosen a specific artist yet. I live in the middle of England so I'm trying to find someone local if possible.

If you want my advice, just find the artist that you think will do the best job, don't try and keep it local. You're going to have it for the rest of your life.
There must be 20 tattoo studios within 20 minutes of my house and I've never been to any of them despite having more tattoos than I can count. I've drove all over the country to get work from the artist I want. If you have an amazing realism artist close by, that's great, but don't pick someone just because they're close.

I totally agree mate. However one of the highest rated realism artists are local to me which is a bonus!

I'd be happy with any of them, but the Berserker does have some real nice colour work.
All I'll say with regards to tattoos (as somebody who rushed to get two in my younger days and very much regret it!) Is take your time, make sure you want it and find a damn good artist even if you have to travel. Don't go to one just because they are in a convenient place because this is very much with you for life, mistakes and all...

) I'm fed up of it now and I'm considering getting some kind of Predator myself. I thought I may even get some kind of group thing with a few different characters.
