Watch P1 and P2 back to back. I'm not gonna subject myself to it again for a while. There are plenty of homages in the way scenes are set up, music and one-liners coming from all the cast members, especially Busey, that are "homages" to the original. So saying Predators sucked because of the homages and praising P2 for being original couldn't be more hypocritical.

Sorry, I'll try to spend less time with real people getting drunk and laid and more time reading through all the _____ing and whining here.

Meaning, "I'm not giving up on WOW to come here."

I loathe you movie goers that just spew distaste out of your mouth for every single movie that comes out. I don't see a damn thing wrong with the Predators franchise ... hell even the two AVP movies were enjoyable. They weren't Stanley Kubrick masterpieces but neither were the original two movies that came out. You people want to complain and say that nothing is original and most of the movie was a homage yet when Terminator Salvation came out you were complaining about how there wasn't enough one liners and that the tone of the movie is nothing like the previous 3..... These rants would be a little more valid if these movies were coming out every year like Twilight, Harry Potter, Saw and so on but the fact that we've only had 5 movies in 23-24 years just grinds my gears. I've said it before and I'll say it again, if you guys are really fans of these movies rather than complainning you should be very thankful.... another hypocritical note is eventhough you claim to depise these movies you still buy all the products that come out...

I just don't feel like watching it again. Busey repeats several lines from the first film, almost verbatum, when Danny boy is climing up looking for the dart, they're playing the exact music from P1 when TT was setting up the traps, etc. There are plenty of homages in P2. I just don't want to have to watch it again. You're such a fan of it, go enjoy then report back.

A street war has broken out between rival predator gangs armed with new high tech weapons (predator and super predator drug cartels). Upon observing the “best hunter” in the city (highest arrest record) in firefight between PAP (Predator Assault Police) teams and a predator drug cartel, Adrian Brody begins to hunt the “best hunter” so as to take his skull as a trophy.

As the film progresses, the PAP (Predator Assault Police) begin to realize that the sudden mass murder of predator drug cartel members is in fact the work of Adrian Brody and that government Black Ops (Super duper predators) have been following encounter sites of the titular alien (Brody), trying to find out more about him in the hopes of capturing and studying the human.

After the Black Ops agents fail to capture Brody, he and a lone predator have a final battle that ends in the “best hunter” killing Brody in his underground space ship. The film ends with the “sniper chick” from predators giving a pistol from the lost Roanoke colony of the 17th century to the “best hunter”.

Glad to see that Rodriguez is going in his own direction for the sequel .
