Sideshow,

Please make an ULTRON Comiquette.

It's too bad the Comiquettes aren't the same scale as the PF's, characters like Silver Surfer beg to be done in Comiquette format, but would look a bit out of place in a PF collection.

Iron Man is 1/4 and Iron Spidey is 1/4. Namor is 1/4 and it looks like the oncoming comiquettes might be following suit.

I disagree, I think some characters would better fit a comiquette but its not set in stone. Iron Spider-Man is predictably a Comiquette but Spider-Man looks great as a PF. Human Torch would most likely be a comiquette but if they did something like this:

They would mix media without much of an issue....

It should be decided on which dependent on what they are trying to put forth. Either way though....PFs RULE.

We are basically agreeing that PF might suite one character but not another:lol

I have both and love them equally. It all depends on the characters being represented. My AH comiquettes are breathtaking while my PFs are majestic in appearance and more pleasing to the senses. I will mix and match as I see fit. I also have some awesome Anime ladies in the 1:6, 1:8 scale which are lovely to behold. Comiquette or PF it's hard to go wrong with Sideshow with either. The Bowens are just to tiny for me to get excited about though.

I own both PF and Comiquettes and I prefer the Comiquettes. I'm not a huge fan of the fabric clothes on statues which many PF's have. If they don't have the fabric then it is a toss up. I tend to like the poses more in many of the Comiquette statues though as they seem more action oriented. I'm not saying PF's don't have action poses, but they seem not to come out with as many with an action pose than the Comiquettes. PF's are just slight bigger in scale usually so no big deal to me if a statue is 1:4 or 1:5

I wish Sideshow would come out with a Thor Comiquette. To my knowledge they now have 2 Thor PF's but no Thor Comiquette. I hope they start releasing some of the DC characters in the Comiquette format as well.

It depends on the statue to me - I find many of the comiquettes have more action going on in them where as PF's tend to be more of a pose statue (this trend seems to be changing with the new Thor & DD PF's though). Also I prefer a solid polystone to mixed media for holding up over a long period of time as a collector, but also appreciate the artistic endeavor associated with producing the tailoring on the PF pieces. I like 1/4 over a 1/5 statue in terms of size of the product. So many variables...I can't choose! :horror

Keep in same scale, and mix media like Deadpool is on the spot... Perfect PF

I own a mixture of PFs and Comiquettes and I sit firmly on the "Depends on the character" side of the fence.

Comiquettes (IMO) that are better than the PF equivalant: Punisher, Mystique, Spiderman...
