First, this PF likeness looks like Leia from A New Hope, except that her ****s were bigger then because Fisher wasn't on drugs yet. Otherwise, I agree that it is a more accurate physical representation of a non-athletic, non-voluptuous character. So meh. The GG version is more like the Leia this perv remembers, and it goes perfect with my 1/6 Sideshow stuff. You're just jealous you don't have one.
Second, Warrior Pirncess or not, Jabba dressed her to humiliate her, and Lucas did it to turn her into a sex object. And for nearly thirty years, no guy has forgotten about it, and neither have any of you, so drop the false piety.

the original has a sculpted skirt which I painstakingly removed. It required me to dremel it away from her butt, putty over the square hole it left, and paint match her entire right cheek. Not bad, huh? I also had to drill up from the bottom of the base to free the pegs and rods holding her to the damn thing.
Yes, the original statue debuted at Comic Con '06. Carrie Fisher was actually there, saw the statue and threw a b-i-t-c-h fit right there in front of everybody complaining that eveybody could see 'HER' (not Leia's) cooch. The statue was then reworked and redebuted at Star Wars Celebration III, the 30th anniversary, with a more modest coverage of skirt, to which I said F-that! That is the Fisher story as told to me by a GG employee at CIII who was there at Comic Con.

Sideshow's site has the date for the Slave Leia PF set for March. Since the first PF came out before I started collecting and I passed on the Gentle Giant Slave Leia, this will be my first, and possibly only Leia Statue and I'm very excited to get her! :chew

I'm sad to say I passed on PF Leia cancelling her. I already have the Koto and GG statues and maybe in the future I'll get her, but not this time

No way Im cancelling, but I dont have the koto verison, but I do have the GG one. This is going to be a nice piece...
I recently cancelled my PF exclusive. Finances were a major factor, but so is the likeness. I have the Gentle Giant piece, and actually prefer that pose and likeness.

I'm not letting go of my Exclusive. I don't care for the likeness of the GG statue, I mean it isn't horrible but something is still off, and the proportions are off to me also. I don't think the likeness on the PF is perfect either, but it's still good enough for me. I'm really looking forward to getting this!
